    What a lovely card, Carrie!
I don't use my distress oxide inks enough. This has inspired me to get them out again. Thanks so much!

Loved your card and had no idea how you did that with the colored flowers...Then when you did it, I smacked myself on the head and said "Of course, Genius!"..Really great card! Also, the thought for the day reminded me of you.

Hi Carrie, you’re welcome. Glad you got the colours you wanted. I love doing the ink resist technique, but I’ve never done it like this. I usually dry emboss the card first. I’ll be trying this out. Xxxx

Thank Marlene. I must try the dry emboss technique, too. It's great that we can all learn from each other, so thank you. I will be watching some TH-cam videos on it. Do you recommend anyone?

@@CarrieKirbyCreates I can’t remember who I saw doing this technique but it’s really easy. It’s best to use a 3D embossing folder as the image will be deeper, but I did hear that if you dampen your card before embossing that will give you a deeper impression. Start as you did by inking up the card and then emboss it, but put the ink side face down. Then after rub a dark ink pad over the whole thing, and your embossing will stay the colours you put on the card. I’ll email you a picture of one I did. xxx

I have a video made ready to edit of what I think maybe this technique. I used the new inks and did ink on the embossing folder then embossed it and rubed the black soot over the top afterwards. I don't know if that's it? There are many different techniques. X
