Metal Detecting the Georgian fields and finding my oldest ring so far

Back out on my permission I decide to take the XP Deus in a field I didn't find much in before to try my luck and this site is about as hard as it gets to metal detect on as its full of coke, aluminium bomb fragments and the ground has high iron levels. but i manage to pull a few goodies out of the ground.

From what I've heard for the money there pretty good. On both land and beach. I have used one myself used to use the Nox 800 which Is a brilliant detector and you can pic them up second hand now for around £400/£500.

put the coins in with some salt and vinegar and it should clean up but DO NOT DO IT WITH BRONZE coins

I've made a electrolysis cleaner which removes all the dirt and any oxygenation works wonders you just have the remember to change the salutation if cleaning a different metal or you end up electroplating the last metal you cleaned. I once copper plated a silver sixpence
