I have an aquarium at home and have kept a few of these fish species at home, except for the Piranha, too bad! Huge variety of fish to observe. I used to have the African Cichlids and they can be very aggressive but interesting to watch. The wild reef was my favorite part, I used to have some of those too and the soft corals.
Finally, an answer! Thank you. We are not aquarium buffs by any means, but we love learning. Glad you enjoyed. Definitely one of the better aquariums we’ve visited.
Been here a few times. Always fascinating. Growing up in North western Illinois, we'd sometimes take school field trips there. After I got married, in KC now, I took my wife for a visit. Good times.
@@MagellanandGreyhound if you get around to it there are 2 more you may want to checkout. The aquarium at Omaha zoo is pretty good. Also the one at Atlantis, Bahamas is a really good one, though you'll have a really difficult time driving to that 1.😄
@@MagellanandGreyhound both. Lol I grew up in Detroit and I hated every day of it even when I was a kid. As soon as I was 18 I got the hell out. I never felt like I belonged there I’ve always been a country girl.
I have always been fascinated by underwater world and aquariums, the soothing movement of the fishes is very relaxing, wonderful tour my friend, I am loving it 👍
Thank you! Well if you ever visit again, you can spend almost a whole day there. I’m sure you’ve been to the Monterey Aquarium. That one still might be our favorite, but this one is pretty close.
I love ocean animals and I've been LONGING to go there, so this looks like a lot of fun! They took in a new otter- Qilak- from the Alaska Sealife Center not too long ago.
Amazing aquarium with so many different levels for different sea animals. Very quality video. I went to Long Beach aquarium to shoot for my channel and it was too crowded and I dropped the idea of shooting. You captured all these brilliantly 😊👍
Well, we only really go on one big trip a year, sometimes a shorter one and then just local stuff. We try not to stay in campgrounds unless we’re going to be somewhere for long. As for the videos, we stretch the videos out over 6 months. This video is the last of this trip that we went on in late September last year 😂😂😂

Whoa that’s pretty cool, and serious! You never see anyone with aquariums or fish tanks at home anymore.
@@MagellanandGreyhound haha in my community fish keeping is popular 😆
It’s a lot of work too!
That sounds super cool!
The yellow fish in the wild reef is named cow fish. Nice video! Very organized description of each exhibit.

Wow, such an amazing variety! I do enjoy a great aquarium...and believe the Amazon Rising is my favourite! Awesome! Bruce and Otis
Thank you! This was worth the pit stop for sure. Well, it was raining … haha
Great to show your classroom before your field trip!!
I would have loved to see stuff like this when I was a kid. I avoided aquariums for no reason until I was 20 or so. Hooked ever since. And thank you 😁
Love nemo fish they are so cute. Have a lovely weekend guys!
You too! Yes Nemo was awesome 😀
Clownfish? They're cute and it's cool how they have mucus covering their body so they can live in sea anemones and not get stung.

It was our first time there, even though we’ve been to Chicago often. Really enjoyed. We’ve been to the Monterey CA one too a long time ago.

@@Pahoe77 had no idea there was an aquarium in either. We’ve passed through Omaha before, so that we can knock out. Bahamas will be a bit tricky ;)
Man I love aquariums. I’ve never been to this one. As much as I don’t like Chicago that would be worth the trip. Great footage you guys.
This one is probably the second best one we’ve ever been to. You don’t like cities much, or you just don’t like Chicago?

what an amazing Aquarium! I'm from Illinois, but have never been to this amazing spot. The sea otter!! : ) Loved hearing your comments...

I’m going here can’t wait to see all of it😁
Have fun! It’s so awesome
This is so informative video I felt like I am watching National geographic good work
Thank you so much, that feels wonderful to hear. We spent a lot of time trying to make this one
Cool place. Seems to be a lot like Monterey Bay aquarium in California
Yes, love that one too!. It’s been twenty years though.
Looks cool cute little otter
The otter stole the show! 😁

It’s a great aquarium! Also I just googled Qilak and he passed away 🙁

My favorite aquarium is still the Monterey Aquarium. You should check that out. Easier for you 🙂
@@MagellanandGreyhound Yes, I love MBA when I did the PCH road trip. It’s on my channel. Please check out.. it’s a small video though.
Looks like a great spot to check out! Such a large variety of species there. -Anthony
Thanks Anthony!
Very nice ❤❤❤❤
Are they strict with checking if you are a resident of Chicago or not so much?
No, I don’t remember them doing that at all
Wow! This aquarium so beautiful.Interesting different creations inside .
It really was, and we probably only showed 10% of it. 😆

I'm relatively new to your channel. How do you afford to go traipsing all over creation. (In US)?

Thank you!
Amazing :-)
Thank you!
Very beautiful apuaduim
Thank you!
I wish you would correctly naming the animals when they pop up. That's all. Great vid overall.
A very hard thing to do! Glad you enjoyed.
Too bad you didn't get a vid of the beluga blowing the air bubble circles 😀
We had to throw out half our footage on this one, but we did not see that!
