Communication with agents in occupied countries was critical. “Between Silk and Cyanide” written by Leo Marks, head of codes for SOE, is very informative and covers the many failures ….the complete failure of the Dutch section …and the successes too.

Interesting ! but at 7:12 the radios were NOT transistor, but did use a parachute dropped small stuart Turner steam engine to recharge batteries, the boiler could be fuelled by twigs and small wood.
