Frank, Thank you for sharing part of your story and possibly sparking hope for others. No child should have to grow up that way. You have found a way to rise above the shitty hand you were dealt, with all odds turned against you! You should be extremely proud of the man you are today. You are proof that you don't have to become a product of your environment, you can break the cycle! You are a good soul and have a heart of gold. God bless!

Thanks for sharing this small part of your story! Your are so inspiring. I can't thank you for being a beacon of light and serving others.
My energy field was completely broken going down there Saturday night. I guess cause it's family. I felt very hopeless, depressed and couldn't get out of bed Sunday.
When I woke today, my car wouldn't start and I was late getting to work... I was passing through the security station to get inside, and a guy behind me said "I love your sweatshirt! I'm a fan of Frank Rodriguez." It brought me back to center and made me smile. There are no coincidences, that both of us were late coming in at the same exact time today!
Oddly enough, my brother told me Saturday night that he doesn't believe there are no coincidences. He is such a lost soul! You and your chat give me hope!

It's so true, most empaths and lightworkers have seen some of the darkest days that lead us right into the path of serving others. I don't believe I would have found my true passion without all the trauma I have been subjected too!

Nancy Drew I am 40 years old and I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that I am an empathy and I look at it now as a gift because I am no longer running from it. Agree with what you wrote wholeheartedly. God Bless

I didn't finish video but I'm interested in how your family was effected by your addiction. Your wife, kids (if you had them at that point in time), sisters, brothers, mother etc.
How did your addiction effect your relationships and friendships?
Is there anyone you still associate with from your past? (Negative people)
What are things that trigger you? Seeing people use and knowing there are drugs that close to you doesn't ever bother you?
Thanks! I'm looking forward to all parts of your story.

I commend you on what you do sir. I used to live in Jersey about 15 min drive from Kensington and would go there and cop all kinds of drugs. It started with weed and dust but then moved on to coke crack and dope also. A bunch of friends and myself would all put our money together decide what we were gonna do drug wise and then myself and one or two friends would go grab the stuff and come back and we would all party somewhere and this was a daily occurance. To me the rush of going to get the stuff and being in that environment was just as addicting as the drugs. I never had a desire to stay in the area and get high because you cant enjoy it in an unsafe place such as that. I do understand why people do stay there or end up staying there but I saw shit getting bad for myself and moved to South Carolina before it got to that point. I had friends getting stabbed, robbed, beat up there, been robbed once or twice myself, then close friends were dying from overdoses so I said that's it... I gotta bounce. At the time I wasnt fully addicted to opiates so it wasnt that hard to walk away, but I continued to chase them in S.C. until I was addicted. The struggle is real and I cant help but get that anxious feeling in my stomach when I watch the videos of you walking around out there. But anyway I truly admire what you do and salute you for your efforts, keep doing what you do brother.

I’ve been watching your video for a couple days. This really touched me in a different way. I remember going from family member to family member because my mom chose a man and his addiction over her children. That shit still hurts to this day. And honestly coming from a Puerto Rican family, our grandmas just brush it off and tel us thats the way it is. Hearing that at 5-6-7 years old is so tough. I felt unloved, burdened, and a sense of responsibility to fix shit so people wouldn’t talk bad about my mom. And that shit you said about walking into your grandmas house and everybody is high as hell. Yo I felt that. I’ve been drug free for 2 years now and it is the most satisfying thing in the whole world. I used to smoke weed heavy and after my daughter was born it became very hard to be happy if I couldn’t smoke whenever I wanted. It was like when I smoked I was happy and it fkn sucked that without it My body was like going through dopamine withdrawals. I guess not as bad as heroin or crack/cocaine but I am so happy I was able to break the cycle in my family. Thank you Frank for all the compassion and motivation you give us all.

Just found your channel. I think it’s great. I’m from Williamsburg BK originally also. The south side is a notorious dope hood. It’s gentrified a lot now, but it’s still a known dope spot. It’s just not as out in the open and in people’s faces.

You've already lived a very eventful life at the age of 9 Frank, that would traumatize and scar any 9 year old child. But as you said you thought it was normality at the time. God bless you Frank, you're an inspiration to MANY! I'm hooked on your channel.

FRANK your awesome and I love the morals over money!!! I am almost a year clean from heroin and that shit ruined my life in 3 months. The hardest part is that I came from a good home and my parents weren't addicted to anything I always told myself I'd never do dope, well I was wrong one day I shot up and that was then end of being sober, after I lost my daughter to cys and almost lost everything I had to run away so I ran and the days to lead of detoxing was horrible but I pushed through it. And thank the lord for his hand and helping me be able to push by the pain of detoxing. But Frank your awesome and a great guy for all you do and thanks for sharing your story well part of if in this video!!! God bless and keep your good work going!

You mentioned teen challenge, I went to Teen Challenge, Home of Hope here in Casa Grande Az, amazing recovery program, they have a 90% success rate. I've been clean and sober off opiates and alcohol for 3 years. Teen Challenge is the best thing that could ever happen for me to live. Congrats on your recovery Frank and God bless you for all you do.
