Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing this! We stopped on way down and visited the Pine Ridge Club that was used in the movie, lady there was really nice. People in Adamsville and area all really nice. Ate breakfast at Graces Place, highly highly recommend it! Food was great and so were all the people.

For the few of you that keep insisting Pusser was "corrupt"...
The 1960s were a very different time. Justice was often meted out in different ways in rural America in the early 20th century. So, while Sheriff Pusser may not have been a "by the book cop", he did keep his promise to clean up crime in his county....and he did so while selflessly risking his life. Most intelligent people capable of thinking outside of the box will agree that he did more good than harm in his community.
