Great video Jordan. Really interesting to learn about those historical road markers. For the few of you that keep insisting Pusser was "corrupt"... The 1960s were a very different time. Justice was often meted out in different ways in rural America in the early 20th century. So, while Sheriff Pusser may not have been a "by the book cop", he did keep his promise to clean up crime in his county....and he did so while selflessly risking his life. Most intelligent people capable of thinking outside of the box will agree that he did more good than harm in his community.

@@dr-rk7wvTheres always 2 sides of a story, sometimes I imagine it depends on what side of the Law your on too
And sometimes people love to attack someone after their death, when they cant defend themself.. btw still havent seen the difinitive proof anywhere.. i specualte its the usual bunch of people that thrive on tearing someone down after their death.. its a sad, and sick form of jealousy people have..
@@DazewithJordantheLion thanks Jordan, I see the commenter who had negative reply to this has removed his comment. Sincerely..thanks, can't wait to see inside his garage etc.
No, it's facts not made up fiction.
@DazewithJordantheLion here-here… i second that! 👍👍
Your story telling is incredible. I was glued to the screen the entire time.
as a kid in the 70's, I enjoyed watching the walking tall series with Bo Svenson, It was fantastic.
The actor Joe Don Baker play Buford pusser in the first walking tall move.
Leif Garrett, Dawn Lyn were the children actors. Leif and Dawn a real life brother and sister.
Hi from Brazil ❤Jordan and Jah
Awesome vlog Jordan as usual, I was always interested in his story, saw every movie made about this great person ! N your right a true hero 🇺🇲 can't wait 2 C your second part 2 this story 👍🏼 thanks again Joe 🙂
I been there Many times through the years , I got pictures from All the places and went to the Museum , I wanted to meet Mr Pusser when he visited Baton Rouge , Louisiana Promoting his Movie but I was only 10 years old , anyway Great Video !!
Great video, Jordan!
Now THAT is a man. He certainly lived a life of danger, didn't he? That man was like Hercules! Thanks Man.👍💯💪
Great video Jordan.
Well, Pauline Pusser's family might disagree with you.
Tennessee sheriff's do not have a good track record when it comes to not being " corrupt".
@@hollihawk1 Family members of law enforcement officers are not strangers to retaliation from criminals. However, I do believe Sheriff Pusser should have been more careful about shielding his family from such violence, given who he was up against.
Thanks for that story i never knew who he was awesome video
I was a child in the 70s. My mother loved this man and the original movie. She died in 2014. Talked about Mr Pusser often
Hi Jordan, can’t wait for your vlog on his home/museum. I just watched Walking Tall again a few months back. I know it wasn’t accurate but it definitely was eye opening to how corrupt & crazy it was. Just horrific about his wife. Didn’t his daughter have something to do with the museum? Safe travels
Lots of reading naterials and videos.
fantastic -- loved this ---thanks!!!!
Amazing documentary! He was my husband's cousin ❤
The family is spreading false information. TBI hasn't released anything
@Rockjunkie I didn't know him personally. My family is from Lawrence, Tennessee area and Alabama. Thank you for updates
Excellent story and thank you. Very brave and committed man for sure.
I lived in Adamsville and my landlord said she went to school with Pusser and she said he fought a lot in his youth and was a big ole boy who was used to getting his way. Terrible how he was ambushed and lost his wife. I read the book The 12th of August years ago...
Morris himself told before he died the book was mostly lies
@Rockjunkie annnnnd….there you are! didn’t figure it would be long before you would show back up in the comments, trying to ‘rain on someone else’s parade’… can’t imagine what being one of neighbors would be like… i bet you know ALL the ‘juicy stuff’ on them too! hell, you probably know all the dirt on EVERYBODY in the WHOLE TOWN you live in, no? your ‘THAT PERSON’ aren’t you? the one that feeds on gossipin’ 🤣🤣🤣
@@mikethomas4690 you must be 🥜
Wayne, you might wanna read more recently written books on the subject.
Some folks just enjoy fantasy and could care less about the truth.
Jordan I never knew that about Elvis, such a genuine heart he had ❤ and I watched another video on this and they said that his headstone is supposed to be as tall as he was….I love watching your videos, you and jah stay safe out there traveling ❤😊
Elvis didn't know Pusser per Marty Lacker Red West and Billy Smith
Good video I remember this and seen the first movie 👍
Dude I am fond of your show, entertaining
He was a great guy loved him love Elvis to ❤❤❤
I know it's since been moved. But 1992 there was a police museum in Tennessee. They had his "Death Car" and other items of his. A badge. A club. Etc. crazy seeing that up close
THE ORIGINAL "WALKING TALL" ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME
Great movie. Unfortunately, it was mostly fictional.
Great job. I lived in Henderson tenn. The county over from McNairy but they wouldnt let them film the movie there so in was mostly filmed in Chester Co. The part where they buried him wife that graveyard was across the street from my uncles house in Henderson. But it was a great movie.
Thanks Jordan
Great video as always Jordan your story telling makes my day a bit easier ,was the sherriff from smokey and the bandit named after sherriff Buford
Hi Jordan, thanks for touring Alabama. Maybe one day you will make it to Montgomery. Sorry to hear about your solar panels scam. Some people can be or they just don’t have a heart. I will pray for you.
Ive vlogged montgomery 6 or 7 times
My Dad met Buford once back in the 1960s. I don't know exactly what year it was. All I know is that he met him at a Boat Racing event in East Tennessee.
A man's man. Talk about a man with integrity. His picture should be in the dictionary under integrity, brave and honorable. Can't believe he had to die in of all things a car accident. I visit McLemoresville, TN every year it's only an hour and a half south I may have to see it for myself. I remember going to the theater with my HS friend to see Walking Tall I graduated in 74.
I never met him but he was a cousin of my Mom's. She recalled when his mother would make the trip to Pa for the family reunion.
This was very informative. I knew very little about his story. Great job!
I've never seen the movie, only heard about the legend. Thank you for such an interesting story, even though it's terribly sad.
Great guy! Love your visits to more obscure locations and people.
Hi from England lol your channel thanks for sharing.
A wonderful man , a legend . Read about him a couple of years before any of the films came out . The kind of man who deserves the greatest respect and love forever .
Such a good man! I remember watching Walking Tall when was a kid. Great movie!!
Awesome story 👍
