@@omegasensei382 Bhadla solar park is a 2.25GW solar complex being developed in Bhadla village in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India.
The project is being developed in four phases,
The total estimated investment on the project is Rs98.5bn ($1.4bn).
National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) are responsible for assigning developers for the solar power plants. The two organizations have signed 25-year power purchase agreement with developers.
The solar park construction was started in July 2015 and the first phase was commissioned in October 2018. The second phase is expected to be commissioned in April 2019, while phases three and four are expected to be commissioned by March 2019

Rajasthan (specifically western Rajasthan) have Solar power plants , Windmills , thermal power plants still villages of Rajasthan get 5 hr electricity a day and daily 2-3 hours power cuts in cities (as of 30-4-23).All thanks to visionary scamgress gov which is busy in giving free electricity for election instead of 24/7 electricity.

This should be implemented in every state of India to get affordable and cheap electric power for every houses in India
Depends on sunlight availability, duration, area and many other factors
Do other states have 200,000 square Km of the desert area? Do other states have sufficient sunlight hours?
There are many ifs and buts. Nuclear energy is a far better choice.
However, Thar desert and the location of Thar desert are an advantage to India. In theory, solar panels covering 115,000 sq. km of the area can power the entire world. So, India can power the entire country and the rest of the world just by installing solar panels in Rajasthan.
India's geographical location is similar to winning a Powerball lottery ticket.
