- We headed to Wellington for international event classes on all 3 boys!!!
It was a very big deal taking all 3 horses to do fei classes at the same event! It was my first time competing at 2* on Max and Kato and was maximus’s first ever time competing at 2* as well!!! Zeb went for the 3* as it was only his second event back since our fall!
We took so much footage as we were there 3 days with 3 horses so we have made 2 vlogs!!! So part 2 will be out next Sunday! Part 1 has lots of drama including a broken lorry and Zeb biting dad!!!

So the horse I’m riding is 16h and I’m only 4foot 9
She is jet BALCK and just gorgeous and so forward
But do you have any tips on how not to be scared of a gigantic horse and how to ride confidently xx

Difficult one to answer, always make sure you are the boss on the ground and it always helps to find a confidence giving teacher 👍😊

I rode her today and I defiantly need to be the boss
Since she is new I’m only walking and getting to know her she may have gotten bored of walking and decided to surprise me with a trot and then a canter I stayed on but definitely need to be the boss
One of the reasons that he backs so fast, is that possible his bit is to high in his mouth. I have been watching your videos of your horse n notice that your bit on Zeb seems to b to tight/high in his mouth. A horse of his age knows how to hold the bit in his mouth, if it’s not to hight in his mouth. Please try to lower his bit to where it is barely or almost touching the corners of his mouth.
