This man is the second coming of Alan Parsons. He's taken a relatively straightforward progression and just the faintest hint of melody to carry it, but, the orchestration is so wonderfully complex and layered -- and for electronic music, the "individual performances" have plenty of nuanced variation to give it character and keep me discovering awesome little tidbits of it with each new listen. If the 8-Bit Guy weren't already using it, I'd love to have snapped up the opportunity to use it in my flight videos...
Thank you, that was very nice to hear. I really like it when people look past the exterior of a song like you did! 👏🏼😃 You can of course use it if you want, I only require people to credit the songs they use and if possible, link to either of my channels. :)
Anders Enger Jensen .....dude this song is stunning......ever heard lost in space Paul Hardcastle.......your song is up their with the best......love it.
Watching smoke pouring up from the pipes of giantic Chinese factories and power plants in Winston's video with this track in the background felt so epic and eerie at the same time.
Funny thing. I heard this song first time on Serpentza's video. Then on Brick Experiment Channel and had to come here. I also follow 8-bit guy but I don't think I've heard this on any of his videos I've watched though :)
The 8-Bit Guy has led with here. Great! Some parts remind me of the music from the point-and-click adventure "Hotel Dusk: Room 215". A mixture of romance, longing and nostalgia.
8 bit guy brought me here. Fabulous 80s vibe. Brings back really fond memories of Miami Vice, 12 inch remixes of The Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tears for Fears etc.. Great work Anders 👍🏼
Absolutely love this track. listened to it more times than I can remember now. It's especially superb when driving late at night on your own cross-country at speed. The mix of gentle repetative bass and an interesting melody is just wonderful. More like this please!
This song makes me nostalgic for a time I never experienced. It has a majestic wonder to it. It’s got a very nice melancholy, yet hopeful vibe going on.
I don't know why I didn't realise this until just now but that those chord going down step by step towards the ending and ending in a major chord reminds me of Jean-Michel Jarre's Révoultion Ouverture. It's in G#m but it does that same step down the scale and ends on a G# chord. Very nice touch.
"So I'm gonna open up the case right now, and there are only 2 screws keeping the case together. Watch out for this little reset button on the side; If you don't see it while you try to open up the CPU, you'll just make a mess. [Music cuts] Now let's talk about (insert microcomputer name here)."
Omg this song just get better as you keep listening ❤️ it's been 3 days I can't listen to something else help me please There's a big daft punk vibe, which I love
I've been getting more Spotify recommendations for this artist and have to say he's a far better artist than he gets credit for. Shocked this doesn't have more views, I expect this channel to be huge in a year or two.
Thanks! :) Yes, there are some discrepancies in the form of some of these older songs were made back in 2016-2020 so there were different approaches to each one. And the newer tracks were actually intended as backing tracks for youtube videos, but I felt they could complete the Space album that’s been in the back of my mind for some time now. Originally I had thought of making all the songs in this style as this one here, but you know how things tend to change as you go along. :)
Anders, I love this track! It reminds me of "Intergalactic Radio Station" by Vangelis. Not so much in the melody, just the way it makes me feel. I can play it in the morning and say to myself "Today is going to be a good day". Thank you for giving me that feeling.
Direct is one of my favorite Vangelis albums - I picked up a used copy at Everyday Music in Seattle about ten years ago and it's in heavy rotation ever since.
Won’t do that, I’ve actually released it onto Distrokid now. Waiting for the approval so it should go out with the rest of Retro Grooves Vol. 4 soon. :)
Brick Experiment Channel about making a googol gear ratio. Song was at the end and it just blew me away to no end. Love this song and can't wait to check out some others.
Heard your music on the GOOGOL connect artifact. You've got a new big fan. Love it. I used to make some of my own electronic tunes and you've inspired me to try to pick it back up. Cheers!
This was in a couple of videos and I had to know what it was. Luckily the second Vid was kind of enough to include some info about it, or info that I noticed. Maybe it was in the first.
Wow! Very beautiful and stylish! Great sound just great! Arpegiator voice theme is wonderful too. Fm piano and bells are awesome!! Oldschool! Drums is tough also. Well done! Superb!
This is a very gentle and a slightly nostalgic feeling i am gettimg from listening to the piece. Thank you for the experience! I really enjoyed listening!
Amazing work! Really relaxing but at the same time kind of upbeat, I love it. Coming home from work and just chilling while listening to your music is just the best! Ør as vi sæi in nørwei: Jævla bra jobba Anders! Elsker musikken din
8-bit guy.... uses this wonderful music in the best ways sometimes, can't believe this retro music is actually made recently... Also heard Disco vision via Technology connections.. Honestly i thought Anders enger Jensen was some old 60's band that I never heard of... personally i'd travel the stars a bit slower to this musc than the video.
Man, I totally fell in love with this track. It's one of the very few in existence that I can play on an endless loop without ever tiring of it. Would love to hear more in this style.
Yeah, I didn’t opt for shazam etc in my Distrokid account. It’ll be so expensive to upload everything with that, Siri and legacy support etc. But thanks, glad to hear you like it. :)
Awesome song AEJ. It reminds me of a song that would be played in the background of a 80's / early 90's movie where the protagonist is training or meditating before the big fight close to the end of the movie.

Yes, Lego guy brought me here originally, but then I stuck this in my playlist and come back every week or so because it slaps.
I love this song.
it's making me feel like I am traveling in space.
Why am I constantly repeating this song? Because it fills me with hope. Something unusual in today's hopeless environment
This tune has a very Joe Satriani vibe, with the relaxed synths and all the background instruments melding together perfectly. Very well done.
Perfect music for lego clockwork building
This gives the feel of modern China, evolving, such a nice feeling 😅
Haha, yeah I thank Serpentza and Brick Experiments a lot for boosting this song! 🥰😎
