@@isnowyuk Personally I speak both Chinese and English (my mother language isn't dubbed either) and you can tell that the English dub has the biggest differences, I noticed it especially with Itto, the eng one is also usually more okay with adding or taking away words to adapt it, although the best one is the Chinese dub, but when it comes to adapting to their own language English is perfect, that also might depend on personal taste tho, western and oriental dubs are completely different

I feel as though Nilou is hiding something. Something both about her teaser and trailer felt... eerie. Her voicelines make it seem as though she is stressed and nervous alot of the time. It's strange they released her to us without ever explaining what's up with all that. Either way I still pulled for her, cuz she's my beloved

For me Nilou is notorious as the most normal "normie" among the playable characters. No drama, no positions of power, no weird lore (yet). Just dancing and enjoying life.
There are quite a good ammount of great en voices in EN, it's just that the bad ones are the only ones people talk about, and from the good ones they only talk about zhongli, but, kaeya, Lisa, amber , mona, jean , diluc, female and male traveler, beidou, venti, yanfei, hu tao, rosaria, yunjin, shenhe, keqing, ninguang, yelan among others, are at least pretty good voices

I think it's how similar to Venti's VA SANG the ballad form the last event, Nilou singing like that...sounds very Western, even if Sumeru is leaning more on oriental themes via the Indian subcontinent or the Middle East. Look, I've heard Bollywood songs, Persian ballads, and Arab rap. They all have this aria that just HITS the diaphragm that it makes one feel tingly. It's similar if not even more amplified to Western church choirs.

Not only that her best voice is as Nanoha Takamachi, the main title character of the series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, who is a huge hit Magical Girl anime in japan back in 2004 all the way until around the 2010s where the popularity started dying down due to Nanoha Vivid and Vivid Strike happening. Nanoha is literally Magical Loli Gundam according to many Nanoha fans who also watched mech anime, she was also nicknamed the white devil same as the original granddaddy RX-78-2 gundam according to the fans, due to how much she does ressemble the more powerful gundams such as Strike Freedom, Unicorn, 00 Raiser, and the Nu Gundam. Nanoha literally befriended all of genshin.

Hisako Kanemoto is a very talented seiyuu, she has done so many characters with a similar cute voice, such as Kari Misono from Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden, Ika Musume from Shinryaku Ika Musume, Nayuta Kani from Imouto sae Ireba Ii, Tsugumi Hazawa from Bandori and etc.

Here's me overanalyzing, but from just a simple la~la~, you can see how in different languages it can sound so different. Like in Japanese, it's actually a really soft "ra" instead of "la". And it's short, just like how they usually speak. In Chinese, the "L" is noticeably clearer, while in Korean it sounds...heavier? And in English, it's the clearest because they're the most comfortable with the letter "L".
The fun part is how the letter “L” is always pronounced with the “r” sound when speaking in Japanese. So if your name is Louis, Japanese will pronounce the name as “Rouis”.
After playing nilou for awhile I honestly hate how her other vo sounds like they made her sound like a kid to me and maybe she doesn’t in the other languages, but my bf who is Chinese said that she sounds very kid like as well. Mean while the en one just makes her sound very strong and elegant especially in her burst lines.
i know nilou's eng va from epithet erased she voices the first arc's protagonist molly, i love her dearly (she has also sung a song for the series so she can CLEARLY sing)
