Yesss!! Also used to have full long 4c hair and I gave myself a buzzcut. The hardest part was hearing comments like comb your hair, texturize or dye it. It made me feel like people didn’t accept my natural hair for what it was and wanted me to change. Meanwhile if I did any of those things, it would cause damage to my hair !! I thought the same thing as well, if I had looser curls no one would say anything at all.
