  • Ok so we've been putting off releasing this episode for a while now. When we announced that we had left a location after being terrified but for no reason it caused quite a stir. We knew we had to show it at some point because it was constantly being asked for but now as the last episode of the year we thought maybe it should finally show it. If you are new here then please don't let this be the episode you judge us on.

Same at my nans cottage when I used to stay there.
It was always the corridor towards the bedrooms bathroom and toilet. Always so silent, an odd feeling and a strange unexplained thought that turns up in the back of your mind even during the day. That's strange isn't it that so many people notice this and feel something similar. Her second husband passed away there we called Uncle Jack a few years before I would stay there as company for her from time to time. That might play a part to what was going on at the time.

Apparently carbon monoxide can cause something similar to the feelings you had, and the fact both of you felt it, for seemingly no reason, might explain what was going on. This was an excellent, honest episode. I think I know that feeling of dread. I was house hunting a few years back and came across a charming, small brick house. The feeling started when I drove up and I just ignored it. I walked around the outside of the house and looked into the kitchen window. I didn't see anything but the feelings of dread and negativity were overwhelming. Practically ran back to my car and prayed that nothing would follow me! When I think back on it, the feeling comes back.

A place doesn't have to to be "haunted" to have absorbed bad energy. And sometimes haunted is a vibe and not a spirit. No content is worth the physical and emotional strain you were both feeling. That's the body's natural response system telling you to leave. Stay safe.

    • @JanetUK
      @JanetUK 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@Yossarian-uj9dh good point, so I asked AI knowing it would phrase it better than me. Here is what it said: Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning can still be a concern in abandoned buildings, even if the electrical systems are turned off. Here's why:
      1. **Alternative Sources of CO:** Carbon monoxide is produced from burning any fuel. So, it can emanate from gas heaters, stoves, fireplaces, or any equipment that burns fuel like petrol or diesel. In an abandoned building, if there are any portable generators, gas tools, or old heating systems that might still be operable, they could produce CO.
      2. **Lack of Ventilation:** Abandoned buildings often have poor ventilation, with windows and doors sealed or blocked. This lack of airflow can cause carbon monoxide to accumulate to dangerous levels if there are sources of CO.
      3. **Illegal Occupancy or Activity:** Sometimes, abandoned buildings are used by homeless individuals or are sites for illegal activities, including the use of makeshift heating or cooking equipment that can emit CO.
      4. **Chemical Reactions or Decomposition:** In rare cases, certain chemical reactions or the decomposition of materials in an abandoned building might release CO.
Always exercise caution and ensure proper ventilation when entering an abandoned building. It's also wise to carry a portable CO detector as a precaution.

But they couldn't be heard, but that's what you were feeling..it's definitely that 6th sense you get. When I see homes like that, with the hospital beds and toilets etc, I think that person did not want to leave their home, and go into hospice, so their attachment to the home is stronger, their energy is there . And I do think that's what you were sensing, you were not welcome in this person's home and they were letting you know. I'm so glad you shared this with us. It was awesome. And quite creepy also.

Something really terrible must have happened there and the residue energy is left. I know a place that feels like this and there was an attack on the community there and thousands of men, woman and children were killed. There are many skeletons of the murdered buried on the land, we came across a skeleton once there and the young man spoke to me and showed me him standing in his light body. He also told me what happened there. We reburied him and left him in peace. He had a peaceful presence as he has crossed over to the light already. What you ask, about whether paranormal can be just a feelling: to me, there's no question at all. It is the way I usually sense things, including in this very house I live in now. And my old dog backed up my suspicions about my previous place I lived in (staring at the same closet I had always been afraid of and barking). In my current house, which is over 110 years old, I have always gotten chills and those feelings of being watched in specific places in the house: the 3rd floor bedrooms, the second floor bedrooms. Noises too, but mostly the feelings. And come to find out, one young man did die here. I've actually switched bedrooms several times (as I live here alone), but wound up back in my original 2nd floor one, as that is the one with less of that feeling. however stuff does still happen in the night.

My take: a haunting isn't always going to be EMF meters, and strange bumps in the night, or even moving objects. For me, the most intense haunting may just be a presence that projects uncomfortable and / or unresolved emotions. Hauntings are not an exact science by any means, and there is so much more to learn. But I think this is actually very compelling, and am glad you released the episode. While it's good you followed your gut feeling, you may have also been on to something. Curious if you'll entertain returning there. Otherwise, this was a fascinating watch. Bravo, fellas!

I agree with this - I’ve experienced two hauntings.
One of them never moved anything and made hardly any noises but was horrific and terrified me every day with this horrible overwhelming feeling that something was behind me at the top of the stairs and wanted to push me down them.
The other touched my back, jangled pipes and came up behind me heavy breathing three times. Was a trillion times less worried/scared as it just didn’t have that horrible sinister heavy feeling (and I later found out it was probably the old lady who died in the house and I think she was trying to comfort me to some degree!)

Something was happening, Elliott. It's just not something that cameras and audio can pick up. I've experienced this so many times, and until one does experience it, one will be blissfully ignorant to such a physically devastating experience. People will say what they will, so be it. It's your choice how, or whether, it effects you, or not. 💚

😢I had this vision the whole time that they didn't know they were dead... There was an elderly lady hidden under the round table watching you all... and a young boy around 8-10 years old hiding behind the curtain standing up. Both were terrified! They thought you all were intruders that were going to hurt them or rob them. 😢 I felt this deeply in my soul the entire video!

Oh, what a thought! Elliot and Joe were sensing the dread that they themselves were causing the spirits in your vision. What a psyche twisting cycle of fear, to think maybe that's what makes hauntings so scary.

Wow America first you are right I saw a person under the table. Also seen someone looking in the window or a glare of someone in the house. My aunt had a house that every time I would go there I would feel sick. And her children would be always sick and they were always fighting. She always said that they never felt sick at there last house or never fought. Her husband came home from the war and seen that they all were different people and children were never the same after that place the children died of natural causes and the mother went into a asylum and the dad died of lonely nest. All in a three year period. So always listen to your gut feeling and never doubt it ever again. Thanks for your bravery. I do laugh a lot when I watch all the time. You guys are great your fan for ever

Literally, this is one of the scariest videos I've ever seen. I can feel the effect of it coming off of both of you. You also kept saying you want to leave, but you stay... It's almost like it's keeping you there... Drawing you in. It also seems to be affecting your mind, like causing confusion. It's real, and whatever it is, it's powerful, and that is terribly frightening.

Joe, Elliott, you hit the nail on the head with your last thoughts, there are malevolent spirits that do exist without hearing or seeing anything, it's pure feeling, sometimes I often wondered if it's what's left from the past so etched in the walls that it remains, I've experienced it in my life, it's enough to make a person run with fear. You both did very well staying as long as you did, gut feelings are very much the thing to listen to as you said. Thank you for posting this. Bravo!

This video is fantastic, even though you think it's not. I'm not an explorer, I'm an old woman but I have had plenty of paranormal experiences. I've worked in alot of homes caring for elderly people. I think that what you were feeling is the feelings from someone that has passed on but still in that house. Sicknesses, depression, loneliness, anger etc. Sometimes it's not fun being helpless and old.

I like to see the honest feelings and thoughts about these abandoned places. The silence itself can be more intense and overwhelming than the bumps and bangs. it's that feeling in your gut that's acting as an instrument, a paranormal tuning fork, for the residual energy there. Your reactions while filming this abandoned house is helping unravel the last chapter in a story. That to me is perhaps more important. Sharing the story of someone's life and last moments. It squeezes the heart, it's both sad and heart wrenching.

More often than not it’s all about the unseen energy.
We feel a place can be “bad” but think because nothing is seen then it didn’t hold any spirits,so to speak.
Those feelings the place gives us can very well be the spiritual energy it holds

I totally got your feelings about this place. It was very hard to watch, the energy was rather suffocating. I felt for you. there are certain places where activities continue til the point we acknowledge them: switch the light on etc. these energies are best to capture with multiple camera-abandonment which also would suit you better as this entity was feeding on your energy. it must have been a horrifying experience.

There is an expression, "This place feels like a tomb" which ironically seeing as all tombs are just mostly empty places with old uncaring bones in it, but the expression means a place where you feel a dread feeling, some places have this naturally be it to do with infrasound or high magnetic background and/or paranormal, some places are just funky.

Also, I've never seen a hospice.. However the bed looked insane and there's toilet seat and wheelchairs. I think it definitely was haunted, but perhaps one of those times with not alot or activity. Always listen to your gut instincts!!!!
You may not understand why you feel the way you're feeling but there's a good reason! So NEVER ignore your gut instincts!
You guys felt the way you felt for a reason! Perhaps something really bad happened there that left a dark stain on the place or perhaps it was the former owner's spirit pissed that you were in their home. Who knows but your instincts were warning you for a reason!
I'd rather watch honest videos like this than all the fake ones with screaming and things flying!

You said it at the end. I wouldn't say you got nothing, to me you got tons. Our built in senses are stronger and more finally tuned then any gadget being used by paranormal teams at the moment. When you cane sense someone in a room when we can sense danger, in a normal situation, then why can we not sense evil in a situation like this. Yes the place was empty of homely touches, you've been in places were you know someone has died, but they generally have pictures and photos ,that place was cold and empty, BUT there was clearly something thing there, stuff the people that call you whimps, you guys have been doing this long enough to not run, but I think its because you are becoming more in tune with the paranormal. Well done e guys I think you did the right thing.👻🖤👻🖤👻🖤

There is nothing stronger than the remaining energy of an old person. What I am talking about is the previous owner was probably an old person who was very attached to their home. Their "soul" or "spirit" may have passed on but there is still evidently an extremely attached energy of them. Think of it as the residual emotional reaction of someone whom you just broken into their home. For anyone who has ever worked with elderly people can probably understand just how viciously some people can really hold on to their physical belongings or property. That energy seeps into the walls and foundations.
in short I feel you guys were justified in doing what you did. Sure not much happened but you certainly felt it and there is no shame in getting the hint and just leaving.
