Saw Matt 1st time in small gig in Exeter UK. His bus broke down. He had time to play only one number but it left such an impression! Such a lovely feel.
Cool....good guitar...!! 🎸 THANKYOU
It's so groovy, Yeah !!!
Freakin perfect mix between SRV and Robben Ford!!!!! Taking things one step higher imo. Seen Ford live plenty times but not srv to my great regret... Seen all his lives though.
Just heard Matt play tonight and now i'm hooked on his licks and groove. Tasty nasty jazzy bluezy funky rock licks that just keep flowing out so smoothly.
Singing is not my fave, but i hated srv's singing even more when i first listened.
Would it be nice if he would have his "Susan Tedeschi" . Made D Trucks bloom imo
outstanding!!!!!
Yyyeeeaaah dziękuję!!!
jeeeeeeesus this is good. the guy on keys is a genius, and I'm a guitar player!
Groooooooovvvveeeeee
Actually, that's Kevin Hayes on drums....
love the sly stone reference @ 9:20
@zargon100 oeps... thank you!
corrected.
No, "If you want me to stay" by sly and the family stone
I think it's a reference to 'Sunny', though I could be wrong.
Actually the title of the song is "black cat bone"
what song is that, on 9:27? Robben's maybe?
Turns into ' if you want me to stay' by sly stone. Yep
yeah thanks
and I put your note in honor of Sly
Cheers buddy!
Where it all comes from...?

A classic funky tune should have a real bass guitar and player imo🎸
Stevie Ray Vaughn ? ha way more melodic than Stevie EVER WAS lol
And Robben and Matt are way more talented and creative than that overrated copy cat SRV was!
