I. 1 Cor. 15-The Highest Single Authority For The Resurrection Is The Scripture

b. Why Jacob? He wanted God’s best
c. What takes precedence over your birthright?
B. Religious rites are not sufficient (Phil. 3: 8-14)

Derek Prince, an Holy Annointed man of God, who was taught and lead by the Spirit Of God, his high priest, Jesus.
Sad today pastor didn't learn or seek or yield to the Holy spirit, they are lead by flesh, which is sin. That's one reason there so much deception in the church. Lead by their treasures of their heart and taught by man.
They reject the High Priest, our Jesus, who gives us the truth of the scriptures and shows many us many mysterious and promises of God. Today's teachers of the word, are lost, their eyes and ears are closed to the truth, because the truth is not in them.

I had a vision of Armaggeddon.I was standing in the first line and I was wearing the christian armoury from Ephesians 6:10-20.I felt so strong,I had no pain,but it was still my own body.I dont know if that was my resurrected body or my old body made strong through that armoury.Anyway that armoury is amazing,real and gives strenth and solid happyness.I love this sermon very much.Derek Prince is my favourite preacher.May God Amlak bless him in Heaven!

John 6:54 'Anyone who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day,' This refutes Derek Princes pretrib position.
It's so sad that he was left alone two times by ones he loved dearly.
I found it difficult to follow at times with all the noise in the background of children and adults making so much noise. I wish people would've showed more respect by keeping themselves and their kids quiet and stop talking.

The most important portion was cut off, why did the video cut off right before the prayer at the end? It could of saved lives.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2.
We are also SEALED with the holy spirit of promise until the day of redemption. I disagree with some of Derek's sermon because he is making it appear of works in some aspects. The way he is explaining, nobody would inherit the kingdom of heaven because we are all under sin and will be as long as we are in the flesh. If we sin it is no longer I that sin but sin that dwell in me. The body is dead because of sin but the spirit is life because of righteousness.. His righteousness that dwells within us upon believing.

I'm still not sure what happens to the soul, does it take a back seat to the spirit body? What part does the soul play in the resurrection?
@SharonFlannagan, upon death the spirit returns to the Lord Ecclesiastes 12:7, when Christians are resurrected at the last trumpet, our spirits will be placed in our new spiritual bodies that will be made immortal 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. So we won't be robots in the age to come, we will have our memories and personality of who we were in Christ but with incorruptible bodies. We know from Ezekiel in chapter 37 that we will remember who we were in the previous age, the Prophet Ezekiel was commanded to prophesy a future resurrection of Israel, in this vision they were raised to a physical life again, in verse 11 they remembered their former state, "They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Of course in the new age we won't think how we use to think or have any sin, we will truly be like Jesus and reign with Him for all eternity, isn't that amazing!

Sadly he interpreted verses 23,24 to suit a secret rapture paradigm.
The text reads 'Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, 24 then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power'.
Derek P. took this to be three stages of resurrection - first Jesus, then saints at rapture, then the rest at the end (great white throne). However, the verse only has i) resurrection of Christ, and ii) those who are His at the second coming. This is when death is swallowed up in victory (v54,55) and the curse is done away (Rev 22:3)
Not mentioned in 1 Cor 15 is the resurrection of non-believers at that time (the Last Day). Acts 17:31 'has set a day when He is going to judge the world in righteousness by the Man He has appointed.'

Womderful sermon. Crying chikdren were so distracting. I was in church ministry for decades. For me, it was so hard to minister, competing eith children whose parents would not queit them.
