It’s just great having a champion with such great, immediate utility that also has great damage ramp up and extremely consistent damage. One of the most overlooked things about champs is when they can do insane DOT without having to put a lot of effort. That allows you to deal with more annoying fights and still deal a lot of damage.
Great call man i totally agree about Shuri. I have this thing where i wont rank 4 a 6* if theres a 7* version of that champ. It could end up being a waste of high value rank up mats. I broke my own rule for Shuri bc i love her so much plus i think her sig ability is a lot more valuable then people give it credit for. Being able to block all unblockable specials is so huge. Especially when it works against everyone. A lot of champs can block unblockable specials vs certain classes or the need to have a buff on them or a debuff on your opponent to do so. Not shuri, at sig 1 you can block all unblockable specials and thats just phenomenal. I didnt feel the need to dive into her damage since you did an excellent job explaining how strong she is. Her passive percisions for guaranteed crits are so freakin powerful. A 5 hit combo on an r4 is like 18k damage.
I just took her up to R2 today. I love her! One thing that’s not mentioned about her is how simple her play style is. Parry, combo, l1 repeat.
does the rank up from r1 to 2 help her alot? did you notice your crits increased by a lot (Stat focus on crit damage obviously)

should I use 4* shuri or a 4* hulkbuster? i can get both to rank 4 (I have both)
She’s amazing and top 5 in class is totally accurate! I have her as a 7* and would love to r2 her someday
Other things you didn’t know: even against shock immune she will do decent damage with her crit-shock hit. Won’t apply the shock but you will get good crit damage.
I have a dilemma, Vega. Would you still take her to R4 or wait until you pop her as a 7*? Same with Hulk?
If they are great for your account then I would R4 without too much worry.

She’s a staple in my deck now, I couldn’t wait to R2 her. Worth noting, she’s better in a bigger deck and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend people rank her and make her stand out, cos she is catching a whole lot of bans!
May I ask, how come when you block, there’s a parry. But it doesn’t happen when I block? 🙏🏻

Wiped the floor using my Shuri against a mephisto in bg’s the other day. I want to do some more testing to see if that was just rng or she is genuinely a good option against him
I love class outliers as well.. top 5 tech is pretty bold w the recent additions.. but I guess I wouldn't know.. I had the abs worst luck w her feat'd crytal.. I went 0-20 before pulling a feat'd of that one 😤

I just pulled a 6* Shuri .. seeing as i wont be pulling any 7* anytime soon .. I'll rank her upto r2 for now ..i have an awakening gem but I'm trying to figure out whether I use it on her or Nimrod?? I love champs that can block unblockable specials. 🤔.. she's dope
If you want and can invest a lot of sig stones then I'd go Nimrod as his higher sig is awesome. If it's just the initial awakening then I'd go Shuri as she gets that new ability at just sig 1

You're completely missing out on one of her best utilities: phasing. You can time your charges better and launch heavy against Apoc for example when he's using his special attacks and they're going to miss 100%.

@@Vega583 I completely agree with you, the main reason I'm looking into Shuri is mainly because I feel we may end up seeing r5 gems be more prevalent by the end of the year (cyber monday units deal, 8.3 exploration) as well as the next progression title being tied to 7 stars. Would you agree?
Since all her hits are projectiles be careful when fighting daredevil since he evades projectiles lol not a fun time but besides that one match up she’s… shocking
I took my Shuri to rank 2 as well. She is my most banned champ.
