Thank you! ❤️ My husband helped a lot with ideas this year because I tend to go a little overboard with Christmas 😬 our goal was to get a Switch for each of them to get them away from watching as much tv, so here’s to hoping our plan works!
Thank you! That’s so interesting you say that! I’ve always seen them filled by Santa too. Even my husband said it’s weird that we’re filling them, but my parents always did stockings and let us open them on Christmas Eve night, so we figured we’d keep that tradition. I had no idea until we had our first baby that Santa was supposed to fill them.
@@chaosoverquiet awww...what a sweet tradition! You should definitely keep it then. Those are the types of things that makes the season special. We always open a special gift on Christmas Eve. Santa's presents are unwrapped under the tree and stuffed into stockings so their faces light up when they come out. Mom and Dad's presents are wrapped, which we do 3 each that we call the 3 wisemen's gifts. 🥰
I’ve definitely been there before. The true meaning of the holidays is much more than gift giving. Your presence means more than presents. Wishing you and your family all the best this holiday season!
Great video. In our home we do one gift from Santa. For my husband and I, we have decided to do the Inexpensive gift vs and expensive gift because we never want our child to go to school and say Santa brought him an iPad. while another child sitting by him got a coloring book or something smaller from Santa. We don't ever want to make another child possibly think we'll why didn't Santa bring me an iPad? But that's just our thought process.
Thank you! I completely agree! In the past that’s what we did, but we homeschool our kids so this year we did things a little bit differently. Our kids are still so young though, so next year we’re probably going to try something different or possibly go back to Santa giving very few inexpensive things. I hope you have a very merry & relaxing Christmas weekend with your family!
new subscriber here! great video i love seeing what everyone got their kiddos for Christmas! it's so much fun! I have not done a video in SO long but i think i might also make a video of everything we got our 3 kids for christmas because i'm starting to realize how much we all love seeing these type of videos haha I hope you and your family have a great christmas! 🎄🎄🎄😊💜
I got it from Target in 2019, I believe. If you Google “Target Merry Christmas stocking holder,” some are being sold on eBay and poshmark. They’re being sold for a bit more than what we paid for ours though 😬
Thank you so much! I’ve subscribed to your channel as well! 😊 We use to always wait until Black Friday weekend to do our shopping, but most of the toys were gone through the end of the season & last year we weren’t able to get our daughter one of the things she wanted most. I felt terrible! This year, we decided to shop early and now we also don’t feel so rushed to get wrapping done at the last minute either. December is always such a busy month for us!
im not trying to be rude or insult you but are you sure your 7 year old should be watching demonslayer or playing a demonslayer game its rated Mature and not recommended for people under 17
I do appreciate your concern. We’ve researched and we also monitor what our kids watch. As far as we’ve seen, there’s violence and cursing. As long as there’s no sexual content, we feel our 7 year old daughter can handle it. She’s homeschooled and very educated on a lot of subjects many other seven year olds aren’t exposed to or their parents don’t feel they’re mature enough to know or understand. She also knows not to say cuss words and I have no reason to feel concerned about her becoming violent. She does however punch her brother occasionally, but he definitely starts it 😂
Your 5 and 7 year old are far too young for switches especially if you say they just destroy everything they get why spend £600 plus on a games console just for them to break it
All opinions are welcome. However, we know our children better than anyone else. They destroy toys. The switches are used under our supervision. This is something I don’t need to explain to anyone. I’m confused as to why so many people feel the need to break down every word I say and make rude comments. It’s a 20 minute video. There’s not enough time to give complete back stories or explain my every move lol this is literally just letting everyone know some ideas to get their own children, no matter their ages. If you don’t like it as an idea for your own child, it’s super simple. Just don’t buy your children one.
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 how is that not rude? My kids absolutely receive consequences when necessary, but they’re not intentionally ruining things. They’re kids and things happen when they play rough. I’m no longer going to defend myself to you. I hope you have a wonderful day. You clearly have nothing better to do than attack people to make yourself feel better. I’m the type of person who can be anyone’s friend, so it’s a shame you couldn’t have seen that part of me.
Just the right amount of gifts they will be on the switches the whole day

Getting everything ready for the switch is genuious level. 😆 I'm never that smart 🤣
With all the things I have going on, I never would’ve thought of doing this either! I have to give my husband full credit for thinking of this one 😆
I LOLED when you said they fight over everything. Loved your ideas and the video!
I’m truly hoping my kids aren’t the only ones 😂 thank you so much! ❤️
Your kids are going to be so happy. Nice share
Thank you! ❤️
Great video! I have to say though, I've never seen stockings not filled by Santa!! Your kiddos will be so excited on Christmas morning.

Yes why can’t Santa take the credit for the stockings. So confusing to little ones
@@chaosoverquiet We do about 2/3 of the stocking and Santa wraps and fills the rest of the stocking lol
Wish I could afford gifts this year.😞😥😢 I hope I can get my son something.

Use the charity shops he will be happy with whatever you get him x
A lot of churches run gift drives. May God bless you.
Maybe if you post on your local sites you will see the goodwill in many! I see lots of people donating/buying for kids this time of year
Thank you everyone. I was able to start babysitting and getting a little money to get my son something for Christmas. He will have a great Christmas.

It will teach them how to take care of something. They will learn if they break it it’s done. Give them a chance
