  • Along with the Indonesian government, conservationists and rhino fans around the world, we are celebrating the birth of a female Sumatran rhino calf on March 24th at the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary (SRS) in Way Kambas National Park in Sumatra.
Dr. Terri Roth, IRF's Vice President of Asia Programs speaks on the significance of the birth of this calf - just the 6th Sumatran rhino ever born in captivity. Dr. Roth's work at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens made these births and this conservation breeding program possible.
We're celebrating all 5 species of rhinos on 5/5 and throughout the month of May. Join us and learn more about ways to celebrate rhinos and help save them at rhinos.org
