I’ve paid 5750 euros. Not counting hotel, transport or flight tickets from Germany to Portugal. I don’t take finasteride because it makes the sperm more liquid and it is a bit frightening. I’ve been taking pra Minoxidil only. It’s been almost 04 months and still not the result I want. Let’s see in the next few months.
My biggest concerning is, having myself a redecind hairline, if i adjust my hairline with an hair transplant, what about the hair that can still fall? Of course, there is no motivation for my hairline to stop receding only because i have an hair transplant, so is there no danger that, for example, after an year, i will start to see a line without hair because hairloss?
5:59 100% agree. Same here. There's a particular reason why I went to the clinic of my choice. I am in Malaysia and the currency is in Ringgit Malaysia. Mine cost about RM15,200; USD 3,654.20 (approx) For 3200 hairs.
Yes exactly, if you're doing such an important intervention, it's better to go to the clinic that you think is right. There are many other factors to look at as well besides the price tag.
Hey Gabiche. What do you think about the anesthetic procedure? ^^ Most painful. I think the nurse did about 15 - 20 injections; both on the donor and transplant area. That's 40 injections. And IMO the nurse did not do it properly. Should have waited a while for the anesthetia to spread..and then injected the NUMB area. Instead, she did not wait. I had cramps on my hands and feet whilst my heart was pounding like crazy. Also, the anesthetia did not spread on some of the donor and transplant area. So I felt pain during but I just kept quiet ^^
Yes, that stings a bit! It was the most painful part of the surgery indeed. In my case, the doctor started by putting the anesthesia in the donor area, then the extraction started, and only when they were going to implant on the receiving area they would start anaesthetizing that area. In both cases, before the they started implanting or extracting, she always pushed everywhere with her finger first and she asked me if I could still feel something. Once I confirmed that everything was well, she started the intervention. I think you could have said to her that you still felt some pain and she would have done the necessary. If you think she didn't do a good job on you, and if one day you want to do another intervention, don't go to the same place! Find a better doctor! Also, I experienced the same thing with my hands and feet, I was sweating a lot and my heart was pumping like crazy as well, but I think it was about all the stress that we had during the intervention. I hope that eventually everything turned out well for you!
@@Gabiche Yeah...I was sweating as well. The anesthetia lasted more than 12 hours. And my whole procedure lasted 7 hours. Plenty of time; 5 hours deficit. It won't kill if the nurses waited a few minutes for the anesthetia to spread before continue injecting the other areas. Dumb nurses~ ^^ Also, better to draw lines on the donor & planted areas. So that the doctor knows which areas has anesthetia and which areas doesn't We lay face down during the extraction. The cushion's hole can only cover half of my face. Wish they used a better cushion dan can fit my whole face. So uncomfy. It was drenched with sweat once I got up.
I have a few questions.. my hairs about as long as a full grown dog's tail would my hair grow long still after transplant?? Would I have to shave it before the transplant?? Can I do something if I'm a 22 year old man and I haven't gone bald yet?? I feel like I will go bald despite having long hair with not much of a sign of balding at the moment regardless due to my dad's side of the family Also: did your bald gene come from your mom, dad or both?? I'm kinda curious because my mom's side doesn't have it and I feel I look a lot like my mom's side.. also how old were you when you could notice you were losing your hair??
Hi Ryan, I'm happy to answer your questions, I'll do my best! 1) Yes! Your hair will continue to grow. So if you wish long hair, both your natural and transplanted hair will continue to grow after a hair transplant. 2) Only the donor area (backside of the head) will need to be shaved. I personally decided to shave everything off just to start from scratch. 3) Yes you can, I was 23 years old when I did this hair transplant. But you always need to contact a clinic first and they will evaluate whether or not you're a good candidate. Not everyone gets accepted immediately to go for a hair transplant. 4) Genes definitely played a role. From both sides of the family I have balding uncles, cousins,... So it was almost inevitable for me too. 5) I was around 14 - 15 when I noticed I was losing my hair (basically it was my surrounding who noticed it first and pointed it out that I was having a receding hairline). Hope this answers your questions. Cheers!
Hey man love the video and your hairs really looking great. I like that you went for a more conservative hairline and not some ridiculously low one that would look unnatural. Can I ask what made you decide to use the DHI as opposed to FUE I understand the differences but what factored into your decision if you don't mind sharing :)
Hi, thank you for the compliment! One of the most important reasons I chose DHI was because a good friend of mine did a DHI hair transplant before I even considered doing one. And when I saw his results in real life, I was completely amazed and convinced that I would do the same. Also, the reviews I saw from other TH-camrs who also did DHI really pushed me to go more for this particular technique. I read that it's quite a recent technique with a higher survival rate of the hair follicles, it's delicate, very precise (as it's done hair by hair), no detectable scarring on the donor area, etc. which for me was all quite important. Now, the clinic I went to was also much closer from home than other clinics that proposed FUE. The most popular ones were in Turkey and I preferred returning back home the same day I did my intervention. So DHI in Paris it was! Haha. But at the end, it's just a personal choice. I'm sure that a FUE can also give incredible results. But I thought that DHI was worth paying its price as well. I hope this explains a bit my journey :) Cheers!
Hi Christopher, I've waited a couple of months before wearing any cap just to be sure that I wouldn't damage the freshly implanted follicles. My clinic said I could wear a very large hat that didn't touch the implanted area after a few days. But honestly, I simply didn't wear any the first couple of weeks/months.
Oh congrats on getting your hair transplant done! I started using Minoxidil once all the scabs were gone. So that was 10 days after the surgery :) good luck! And happy growing! 😊

Hi, at that time I had quite the receding hairline as well. I did the intervention just a few years later at 23. At least you can still enjoy your 20's with a better hairline if you go for the small correction. However, don't go for a big session as you want to preserve as many donor hairs as possible for future transplants. But it's ok to already go for a small correction like I did. Good luck! I hope my videos can give you some more insight. Let me know once you take the step for your own transplant! Cheers ✌️
Oh is that so? I had the instructions to not wear any tight hats, caps or helmets for the first month. But perhaps my doctors said it just to be sure not to damage the implanted hairs. I'm sure that if you're clinic said it was fine to use a cap after a week, you can just follow their advice then. However, after one week, I remember my head being still a bit fragile. Even if I had their approval, I wouldn't feel at ease to keep a cap on my freshly implanted hairs 😅 if you're doubting, be sure to ask your doctors again just to be reassured. I wish you bests of luck, mate! Keep me informed about your journey, will ya? Cheers!
I started off with the soft shampoo that my clinic gave me right after the hair transplant. It's a very soft shampoo that you can compare with baby shampoo (no paraben or other harmful ingredients). But after a couple of months I switched to another shampoo against hair loss. I've put a link in the description if you want to check it out!
