I dated a guy in college that was kind of a bad boy. I was raised in a very religious household. I was pretty sheltered(still a Virgin, highest rated movie I had seen up until then was PG13 and the list goes on) He wasn't very religious and had done everything I hadn't done and my mom said that he was a bad influence on me, but I saw through it all. Behind all that bad boy stuff was a soft heart and a heart of gold. He would do anything to make me happy and keep me safe. Eventually my mom saw that and eased up and said as long as I was happy and he treated me well that's all she wanted for me. Eventually we broke up though and sadly he passed away from what I don't know since we lost contact. Sometimes you have to look deep inside a person to see who they truly are. Good song. Brantley is another one of my favorite artists. 🙂

My dad was in the military for over 30 years and my Rob was about to leave for the Navy. Now he's the man who works his butt off 60 or more hours a week to take care of me. I don’t know if you know this or not but Brantley has and will admit that he used to be an alcoholic and was hooked on I think opiates (might be wrong on that one) and he got off of the drink and opiates completely and doesn’t touch the stuff anymore. First I want to say My first GF she had many bf but they never lasted to long the shortest being 2 weeks and I truly loved her she was shy but seen who she really was she was sweet yet sassy and that was one of the things I loved that about her but 7 1/2 months in to the relationship she changed pretty much everything that I loved about her and became a totally different person and she was going off to college in August and I knew that was going to be hard on me and her so I broke things off I hope and pray that in the 8 months we was together she seen and now knows what true love really is and she finds it in another man
