Ponde, more kicks/knee landing, more damage done. Both fighters showing good periods during the fight, neither doing enough to completely dominate/get a count. Winner by more damage/kicks/knees landing and a spinning backfist landing at the end shower more use of technique during the fight.
Really enjoyable to see a technical K1 bought, as apposed to a balls to the walls one for one war. I love the slogfest wars but personally preferring the traditional muay femur style. Its nice to see a high level pro K1 with such technicality.
Clear victory for Shaz walking forward doesn’t win fights Shaz smashed up his legs, body and landed far more strikes and is the rightful champ no question about it 💪
People often underestimate or overlook kicks, thinking leg kicks doesn't do much. It isn't like getting punched or kick in the head, but leg kicks are effective, they can end fights and hurts like shit. Dean fought very well on that leg despite it being brutalized, maybe if Shaz threw that much towards the calf, it would have been worse. Dean was the better boxer but Shaz maintained good range, defended himself well and his leg kicks delivered the most damage. Good fight from both fighters.
So after watching this again it's clear that dean should of won that fight shaz landed some great kicks and knees but deans ring control and boxing combinations where far better he landed the harder shots ,k1 isn't just a kicking game . The wrong person got the belt imo
Sorry to say but no... a jab and walking forward does not win a fight, maybe 1 knee landed, 1 head kick landed, Dean was out kicked to both legs and body was out knee'd, ah harder shots ye say but no count given?? very little damage to shaz yet just look at Deans leg, side and nose🤔 judges explanation was spot on after the fight.
Looks like damage on the video, looks like damage to the judges.... in a fight that dean used his hands well and shaz clearly worked better with his kicking maybe that bit of colour is what won/lost the fight. Either way decision was made by independant judges so regardless of anyones feeling or views the result was the result. Both fighters deserve all credit for a good clean fight
@@brandoncain8495 he doesn't kick much though? Didn't block the kicks very well either so not sure how he got to be no2... His shoulders and stance is boxer. But hey he is no2 in country. 🤓
Playing football ball and not scoring doesn’t mean you’re not a footballer that’s the game mate I’m sure he knows how to defend kicks, block kicks may have felt the need not to his leg probably looks worse than it feels. After every leg kick he did a counter was fired back.
Who do you think won?
honestly, the guy in black shorts!

Dean
Which ever martial art it is, material damage is one of the main factors in the decision. That leg was like Takeru‘s leg after his fight with Superlek

The power of a leg kick 🔥🔥

You definitely did more damage to him and you reflected his shots (super resilient in this fight) , well to you man 🏆🙌🏼
Crazy how dean was doing 1 leg squats 2 days after getting his leg absolutley hammered
Decision aside, a great fight from both men. I thought dean won 👍
Dean looked invincible, that leg stood strong in front the whole bout! Shazard definitely wore him down tho and brushed off deans hits
Shaz's striking was clean and did a lot of damage to that leg. Dean made no attempt to defend it, so was an easy decision for the judges.
Good took long time to bring up shin block or grab opponents leg. Coach needs to do some drills. That leg looks sore.
Ugh that sucks, but good fight nevertheless, good luck to Dean next time, you did great!
That leg was fxcked

This is not boxing. Kicks and punches win fights. Deans legs was damaged so bad.
Haha there is a bit of colour but no dange at all

The white guys background is boxing
He’s ranked like no2 in country for k1 don’t think he was boxer before

Pretty sure his background is Karate or TKD
You dont block kicks they count as score, judges see visual damage, they score it,
Fking bs Dean definitely took that
