I felt the same when I visited Phuket last Dec that local people were happy to see touiists coming back. They were very welconing and energetic. I felt the energy and happiness spreaded from them to me.
You and another vlogger who showd some super cool and laidback cafes on Koh Lanta have convinced me to add Koh Lanta to my bucket list for southern Thailand.❤️👍🏻

I lived there for 20 years, moved to Bangkok I am now inAp Nang. And I'm moving back next week to my home they're on lanta. Because it's different from anywhere else in Thailand, and unspoiled. But I will say that if you know the place well and you have some local friends, it's even better. Please come to Lannta and visit us. . The absence of hordes of tourists means pristine beaches that you can even find yourself alone on. Just don't expect masses of people bouncing about on the beach like a full moon party on Koh Pangan

I'm currently on Koh Lanta and here for a month. I'm loving the laid back feel of the island. Such a nice vibe about the place. Yes it is very quiet and there isn't a lot open. I really do feel for the restaurant owners and food vendors that are trying to make a living as there just isn't anyone here. Hopefully things will pick up and improve and you can see that they are trying to get things ready for high season. It's a thumbs up from me and you've just got yourselves another subscriber. Happy Travels guys. xx

They should allow driving ATVs on the roads there, and make them available for rent, like on Greek islands.
