Dude just finished watching, thank you, every time i ask the guy at the wine shop to explain this i just waste his time, this time i got it & im gunna try using what you just taught me on my wine this month. Love yeh man for real; thanks for all that you teach & preach. ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE MY HEART SWELLS WITH PRIDE & MY BRITGES FILL WITH SHIT WHEN I SEE YOU ONE FINE MORN ON THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIANCE! Stay Frosty dude. - The Skeptical Canuck 🤔🚬🥃❄
That's a great lesson learned!, I was just checking my gravity at the end. And knowing the level to start out might be why I'm not getting but 6 quarts out of a 10 gallon pot!. I've ran 6-10 gallon runs and I'm only getting between 4-6 quarts out of each run. Its definitely a big learning process and living in south eastern ohio I have to drive a ways to pick materials up so the less trips the better!.
That's actually a pretty good return. They tell me that 10% is what is expected, and I get 1.5 gallons (i.e. 6 quarts) out of a 15 gallon run. My proof usually starts at 130 - 140, and I run it until I hit 100. Then I turn off the heat and pack it in.
He no longer sells the Glass Columns I am currently talking with him to be able to make some more of them and I will be putting them on my website if everything works out. I will ask him if he has any glass left over next time I talk to him.
On your website let me start by saying you misspelled something, there is no such thing as a hycrometer, next mistake is on this video you tell me what I need for sugar content, thank you for that, but you don't tell me on the proofing video if this is the same tool or not, in fact you use a different measuring scale, so do I just buy one triple scale hydrometer, where do I buy a triple scale hydrometer for the sugar content and something else for the proofing, if so where do I get each product because I'm only going to pay $18 for one on your website and it better not be misspelled. I found a triple scale hydrometer for $9 on Amazon. Does that mean all I need is a proofing hydrometer from your website? And I'd really appreciate an answer by today so I can order it online and my mash doesn't go bad
I know I'm late to the party and it's already been said but thank you so much for this video. I love your channel and appreciate you.
Help is always appreciated 👍
