I think this match is also to show what the mask does to Takuma. Prevents him from showing mercy and using his kyokugen killer moves without his conscience disturbing him. Was a good a fight, but not accurate. It seems like every Ansatsken fighter that's pitted against an Kyukugenryu fighter has almost all of their attacks and attributes nerfed. And this one, Shin Akuma seemed to be nerfed minus his "Raging Demon Apocalypse" specialty that took all of Master Karate's life bar and gave him the only victory in this battle. Now don't get me wrong but, I expect the Kyukugenryu fighters to be tough but I also expect the Ansatsken fighters to be as tough and make these battles some of the best battles. I'm a SF fan, grew up on them since the late 80s when the original games where in the arcade. I also played some AOF too. I remember when rented the first two titles out of Blockbuster for my SEGA GENESIS. So please put a more realistic battle between these two sets of fighters. As we know in Karate or any martial art, no style should be superior over the other. They each their strong points and their faults. I would think that when putting a battle between styles their should be no one style that has a clear advantage over the other.
Lol, such an unbalanced fighting... Akuma did thousands of hits that cause lowest damage .. On the other hand Mr. Karate did 1 hit that reduce the life bar into half.... This can't prove the actual power of a character at all... I also played M. U. G. E. N ... You can easily change the hits damage of a character 😁 .....
Akuma is over rated and got what he deserved. He's just a rip-off of Mr Karate. As for Mr Karate being over powered, no. He just had better moves and combos. All Akuma can do spam upper cuts and hurricane kicks.
Not everything is streth fighters fans of Akuma streth fighters is just a cheap cheap copy of the king of fighters that Akuma was just as broken and yet they still gave him a hard time

Akuma hit 10000 combo pts...Takuma hit 1 and cause more damage....unbalanced
