honestly i forgot he even was The Flash only because i love the Flash with Grant Gustin and he's easily the best flash but that doesn't mean that had Kyle gotten his own show he wouldn't have been great he would have though the Aquaman pilot was really painfully bad some of it worked but not much it was just the script i think
@@alimfuzzyWould it have? I mean, think about how much younger he is compared to the other Flash series. So there could be different situations that he could be in due to his age. Much like young Clark Kent compared to an adult Clark Kent.
@tomthemantv6482 Yeah, but it's cw. It didn't have the comic book mainstream that would come later with the marvel movies and dark knight series. Unfortunately I think it would have gone the same way as aquaman. Smallville was a unicorn of its day.
@jordangibbish7701 yeah, no doubt he'd be good. Just it was a different time back then. What we know as pop culture was only starting to the level we had, it was buffy, x files and smallvile.
The part where Allen (Bart) and Clark raced was funny. Allen turns around and starts jogging backwards and THEN takes off, was awesome He wasn't even trying. Clark's like: "Oh come on!"
They was gonna do a flash or impulse show with Kyle gallner? That be cool I would love to see or watch it!! Especially with him develop as a character well liked him in smallville as impulse.
I don't know about a Flash show, but maybe they could have done a bunch of TV movies on the CW for the different characters. A Bart/Impulse TV movie where he fights some metas in Keystone would have been fun.
I never knew they thought about a Flash show. Although to this day it still bothers me that they never went through with the Aquaman TV show. I don't think they really gave it a chance, they could've made it work. Also makes me think they could've built the entire DC universe base off the success of Smallville alone. I wonder why they never did.
That's true. However, he's not wrong in that they did originally advertise it as "The Flash". They even did a nod to his identity with the whole stolen credit card thing "Jay Garrick", "Barry Allen", "Wally West", etc
Bart and Barry are both short for Bartholomew, so they could’ve gone with the idea that Smallville’s Bart was an amalgamation of the two, especially since his age relative to Clark is more in line with Barry. By the time they decided that he was Impulse, I believe Bart had actually become the Flash in the comics. All in all, I think it would’ve been very valid to stick with the idea that he was The Flash. Disregarding the Smallville comics, my head canon is that Impulse was his codename, but he became The Flash when he transitioned into a public hero.
Dang!!!!!!!! Loved this guy as The Flash!!!!! If the Ezra Miller matter doesn't clear up and Grant Gustin doesn't take up the reigns......this guy has to be = THE FLASH!!!!!! However, he needs to be like how he was in Smallville though or at least similar to it. Enough to go......THERE HE IS!!!!!!!....... THAT'S HIM!!!!!!
Is very odd that they had rights issued that they had to used implus given that wb owns dc properties. Was it because they were working on the Justice League movie back then? Wb rights issues are weird and confusing. And the reason why the batman the animated series introduce batgirl before Robin is because they couldn't used Robin. They couldn't used Robin because Robin was being used for the teen titans animated series at the time. Again is so weird and confusing wb owns dc how can there be any rights issued.
Kyle Gallner, Really Wanted A, Impulse/ Kid Flash Spin Off 22 Years Back Justin Hartley And, Adriana Pelecke Were Once Aquaman And, Wonder Woman Their Shows Got, Canned Maybe Kyle's Kid Flash Show Would've Been Made Instead Of, Grant Gustin's CW Flash. Don't Get Me Wrong I, Did Once Seen His Past Few Seasons
The Aquaman pilot actually got great reviews and the series had a green light from Warner, the only reason the series never got produced was the WB fusion with UPN forming the CW, because the new management decided they wouldnt launch any new shows that year 🥲 So I guess thats what he meant, after the bummer with Aquaman they didnt want to risk producing a good pilot that wouldnt be bought
I wish the flash show happened with Kyle being flash and Tom making guest appearances. It would have been lit!!

@@rolandofgilead43 yeah a script can make or break a series unfortunately
@@jk_46 the cast was fine the pilot had potential and with a better script ... it could have worked
One of the first episodes of Smallville I ever watched! Kyle as Bart was so cool to me as a little kid.
Crazy how the world would've changed if he got a Flash show
It would of been exactly the same but with another flash show.
@@alimfuzzyWould it have? I mean, think about how much younger he is compared to the other Flash series. So there could be different situations that he could be in due to his age. Much like young Clark Kent compared to an adult Clark Kent.

I still would love to see Ryan in a future Flash project. He really always deserved it for what he did with the character on Smallville, I loved it

that running backwards scene is amazing
"cause when I'm asleep I'm just as slow as everybody else" Aww man totally nailed the emotion
One of my favorite moments of the show was Kyle's episodes. Hearing you all talk about it now was great to listen to..

the flash guy looks more green arrow like than stephen amell lmao
I was watching the Redletter Media video about Kyle and his movies, I can’t believe I didn’t remember he was Flash on Smallville!
he only did the show in i think a couple of episodes he really wasn't in it that much if i recall
Mike and Jay from Red Letter Media are in love with Kyle.
Best flash. Love Smallville.

no would they could have done is just write him the flash since they did put in The (1990) flash into the cw version why not Kyle's?
@@rolandofgilead43exactly
Tv movies of the heroes going up against the toyman and metallo that they established would have been a great way to continue the show after s10
Wow. Love learning about this stuff 😊❤️.

That Aquaman pilot is underrated
You were named Bart Allen from the first episode lol you were always impulse lol
That's true. However, he's not wrong in that they did originally advertise it as "The Flash". They even did a nod to his identity with the whole stolen credit card thing "Jay Garrick", "Barry Allen", "Wally West", etc

Hes talking about before they started filming
No need to sound like a condescending a-hole
Flash would have went over with fans way quicker than that Aquaman series with Jack reacher.,.lol.

2:21 Did Kyle just drop a bomb? lol
Yeah, he cusses a lot. You should watch the whole podcast.
How do I watch live
They could have started the smallvillverse before the arrowverse
Should have been the flash show, and the aquaman one too
So handsome!

Not Batman the Animated Series. It was "The Batman". Robin was in BTAS before batgirl.
