i saw this exact set of Howie Day at the Garage on Ludlow in Cincinnati,Ohio in Dec.2015! i got to speak to him afterwards & he signed a T-shirt in honor of my daughter Kelley Kathryn Lynch Mall who died 8-6-2010 & i told him how his songs helped me heal & that he was Kelley's favorite artists & the song "perfect time of day" was as if he had written for her,he said that was nicest thing someone said & would remember for a long time!
Lynne Lynch what a fantastic man Howie is. I love this music. I hope one day, I can see him in person How lucky you were to meet him in person. I'm sure it touched your heart deeply.
Tina Schlegel oh yes, it did touch my heaet thank u ! i was very blessed to meet him! he is such a sweet man. he had his wife In front row! it was such an intimate setting! he was able to play all instruments w just his guitar & that foot recorder thing! I forget what it's called! but u must try to see him!
Lynne Lynch what a beautiful story. I'm so happy you got to meet him. I've been listening to HD for 17 years, and his music has helped me through some rough times. I hope he never quits singing and writing! PS...he's married? What???? Teenage dreams crushed!
BreeB88 thank u sooo much, it sure was a powerful moment in my life when he said that he would remember my story forever! his music gas helped me Alot!! I always liked him & his music, but it wasn't until after my daughter Kelly died that I found her copy of his album, (which by the way the same boy who put music & pics together for her funeral was the one who had burned her the copy)& in my daughters friend & her writing on the CD was "perfect time of day" & Kelly wrote "i love Howie Day so much forever! "w hearts♡♡♡ so seems like every night I would go to sleep w that album, listening to Every Single Word! it really felt as if he wrote alot of songs for Kelly & I & he was singing to me!! to my heart! I tell u, if it wasn't for that album, I DONT think I would've made it!! & then i bought every single album! I love all his songs & song writing! on Spotify (free to download) I have a playlist of Howie Day every single song he recorded! u are welcome to follow it, u just type Howie Day playlists or my name Lynne Lynch! Howie has playlists he made up too!! yes he is married, she happen to be in front row that eve & he introduced her, she is beautiful (& prob inspiration to Howie!!) he is SUCH a GREAT STORY TELLER! ! Have u ever seen him in concert? do u live in states? also on Spotify it will show at bottom of artists page where their next concerts are! that is how I knew he would be in Cincinnati! it was such an intimate setting so it truly was like he was talking & singing to me,but to ACTUALLY meet him afterwards was a dream come true & I KNOW MY DAUGHTER WAS RIGHT THERE W ME!! 🎵🎶🎸🎤🎵🎼🎶
has Not the word gas, I tell u this auto correct sometimes! ugh! my daughter's name was misspelled too, Kelly Kathryn Lynch Kalp 7-10-1984 to 8- 6-2010
I remember a time when this guy was huge. I am talking about even before he got signed. He was selling out big venues on his own. No label. It is crazy how things change. He is still great but I guess peoples taste in music is always changing
I was listening from pretty much the start, 2001ish, once he started touring with a band it was down hill from there, I think a lot of people disengaged...he is so much better solo.
@@ddtwdmb2 I have been a full-time professional solo looping artist for over 27 years, and I was very sad when he went from Looping to going main stream and studio recordings with bands. Good stuff, but nowhere near the same. But the problem is that most people nowadays don’t understand actual talent, so the record companies pushed for him to do the band thing on the record.
there it is.. u hav a unique sound so spread the love around. its been more yrs thn i care to admit your voice haunts my memories and fills my mind with guitar riffs stuck in time
Thank you for the video. I have always wanted to see Howie live. But he has not come to my city yet. This is a great video and he sounds as good as I expected! :-)
Here's to the king that stayed true and never sold his soul for the materialistic bullshit. A love for the game... This guy was a legend because of how he did this thing called performing music. The Madrigals -- I'll never forget that night...
EVERYONE SHOULD GET ALL HIS ALBUMS! HE HAS NEW MUSIC OUT AFTER YYE ALBUM LANTERNS! I ALSO HAVE A PLAYLIST ON SPOTIFY OF EVERY SONG HE RECORDED! U CAN FOLLOW MY PLAYLIST! UNDER LYNNE LYNCH

The Same Effect Agreed. He’s still great, in all honesty. I prefer his music over the shit they have nowadays.
he dated Britney spears

I believe in u few but we stand against the wall, were we ever...
What the hell is he singing about on this album, I'm lost
I'm jealous of all the people that had a chance to go to a concert. I'm 30 and never been. Am I retarded?
Remember before he sold out? That was cool.
