I missed prime Neil Robertson action. He is still nowhere near his best but what a champion he is. Wish to see more of him in late rounds this year
There’s so many tournaments nowadays, you’ll see him back soon.
I think when Neil took a year or two out, he thought he could just come back, to the 4 or 5, which is where he should be. But it's that 5%, he's still very good, but not as elite as he was. He's not getting any younger and with him not being from the UK and his wife from Norway, it will take it's pressure. But he's won everything that needs to be won.
Snooker is so competitive now. Pretty much every player can beat each other on their day, especially these shorter matches!

Нельзя концентрировать внимание на лице игрока, на наклейке. Важен общий обзор стола.
Yuan is the best player of this tournament so far. Just beat two big champions in a row and both in deciders. Well done, young man. Could be another new champion from China this week, or at least runner up.
So many great players around nowadays and not just the Chinese. The strength of depth is considerable and each player can beat any other on their day.
Both get exhausted, not in snooker but spend time travelling between table and chair. Neil can easily get through if he delivers 50%

Замечательно - корректно, чуть ли не шёпотом комментируют матчи британские телевизионщики на Euronews. Русский комментатор того же канала Владимир Синицын безобразник! Если вы до сих пор этого не поняли, пояснения излишни. Если он нравится, желаю вам и далее слушать его харкания в эфире, промахи мыслей, торможение при подборе фактов, и просто глупые слова...
А я буду, как обычно, смотреть репортаж без звука. Дорожу своими нервами.
Но мне передали, что Синицын в эфире больше не харкает, однако по-прежнему горланит, комментарует не транслируемые матчи, естественно, за счёт внимания к живому репортажу. Он и Марк Королёв отдаются статистике в ходе встречи. Одно и то же в каждом матче, причём, часто по несколько раз.
Когда вместо зелёной лузы говорят жёлтая, к этому можно отнестись снисходительно. Но говорить о девушке, которая ходит на все матчи снукериста со словами "я такими вещами не интересуюсь", это нечто!
А сколько раз комментаторы охаивали игрока за плохой выход, а тот возьми и забей! Непрофессионально!!
Они неисправимы. Их не вылечить. Нужно только заменить.

What do you actually see from the table when you're not sitting in the first row ? How does it compare to , say, watching it full screen on a 32 inch monitor at 6 feet distance ?
So let me tell u a story...I am romanian,i ve been watching snooker on TV since 1997,i love this sport,and of course,I am a Ronnie O Sullivan fan.But I have never attended a live snooker match.I know almost everything about this sport.But I didn t have the chance to see even one live match.Until ,2019.I was planning a trip to London and as it happens,it was in January,so The Masters was about to happen.I put my friend to buy tickets at an available date,and off I go.We arrive at Ally Pallyby car,we enter the facility, a lot of posters and a little fair with snooker related items,a bar and some snacks to buy,and a lounge area.We thought we have time to smoke one more cigarette before the game starts,but we were wrong.We ve already bought some headphones to listen to the commentary provided by BBC,and we entered the arena.The match was in the first round,Luca Brecel-Mark Allen.We had tickets in the row G,and when I looked at the sitting map,at home (because when my friend bought tickets we didn't t know where we should sit and he bought them aleatory) i realised that it was very far from the table.They were in the last row,so I was wondering if we could actually see anything.But as we entered the arena,the match had already started,and the referee told us to sit in the front row,where 2 sits were available.There were at the level of the table and we were like 2 metres from the players.We ve watched the entire game from the first row,and I ll tell u that I couldn t see a lot,it s just not a very good angle,and the players and the referee are obstructing your view a lot.The match ended 6-5 for Brecel.It was a one in a lifetime experience,but i promised myself that if I ever go to another match,I will never sit in the front row.It s much better when u see it in front of your TV.But the atmosphere is electrifying.It s worth it.Just go over the 3rd row or higher.Hope I was helpful. I've been to the German Masters last year and am going to the final tomorrow as well. I sat in the highest section, very far from the middle table. You can see pretty well thabks to the altitude. I would argue that you see better than someone in the front rows. But if your unlucky the screens in the arena can fall into your line of eyesight, that sucks.
Its actually a very good spectator sport. You can see everything pretty much. And the commentary in the ear piece helps as well.

Robertson is no where near his best. His standard has dropped massively and just can’t get the job done.
Find it astonishing that he’s only won one WC title in his career considering his ability.

Robertson could’ve at least let him clear up. I always find it a bit disrespectful if a player concedes on their shot and not allow the other player who wins to do it on their terms.
