I wrote Sheltered in the Arms of God in 1970. I was in the hospital after being badly abused by my step grandfather. I decided to go to sleep even though I had a serious concussion and could possibly die When I awoke.my brain injury had healed and I had no lasting injury from the abuse incident.

Then I would picture the arms of Jesus hugging me. Now I can see Jesus with him standing right behind Him. He also directed me to another wonderful man. Now we live here in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
Instead of putting down a person we need to pray for each other....I pray for each of you that don't understand God's unfailing love and forgiveness....because God is Love....Life is too short learn to enjoy it ...

The best and most wonderful place to be in. I remember when I was about 7 years , a playful doggie came running toward me, l frightened turned and ran to my father who was only 10 feet away. My father ran toward me and picked me up . l felt so safe in my fathers' arms . l looked down at the little pup , still trying to play, jumping up. I looked at my dads eyes, he smiled and said " Don't be afraid , l'm here, l'll not put you down untill you are not afraid, nothing will hurt you if you stay close to me" After 60 years l finally realized God was the one who was talking to me. Amazing moment now.
