Cafe Racer (The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 By Eak K Speed Custom)

In recent years, the universe of the neo classic motorcycles, has seen the birth of several bikes on the 350cc range.
Bikes like the Honda H'ness CB350RS, Jawa 300CL, Hyosung GV300SA, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, and very recently, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
Therefore, it is only natural, that this video presents one of the best Cafe Racer projects I found, based on the new R.E. Hunter 350.
It was built by Eak K-Speed Custom, in Thailand.
I am sure you will love the custom bike presented on this video.

I believe customization is allowed in many parts of India. Check with your local transport dept.

The 350 was the engine that made the Royal Enfield the Royal Enfield. For a good part of its hundred years it was the workhorse of the brand. It's a classic displacement, relatively small but powerful, loved by Bullet enthusiasts. That engine was the one that came to India to be assembled and then built in the country that gave its name to an ocean. There are mechanics in India who know it so well that they can repair it blindfolded. I think it is a great success for the brand to reborn it with yet another model, which manages to make talented builders dream, it can inspire very interesting projects. I like the Cafe Racer version but all three options just scream "Look at me!"

One of my regrets was not getting the chance to visit K Speed while I was living in Thailand. I had the Classic 350, the J series engine in it was lovely, it just needed more power. I left Thailand about two months after the debut of the Hunter in Bangkok, had a demo press bike available to me but never rode it.

I think the curved sub frame was helped by the curved exhaust/muffler. Amazing how well it works.

I really enjoyed the review of this 350...I ride a '93 500 cc Bullet 'all over' India at 69 years old. The bike was in very 'low mileage' and Western owned shape when I got it and has never let me down.
Your location looks so 'Kent; around every corner I was saying, "I'm sure i know this place..." Where are you riding!

Same here. The interceptor and continental are over priced. So hunter seem to be the perfect choice. And the fuel tank is already a good fit for cafe racer

K Speed Custom é um dos melhores nessa magnifica arte de reconstruir essa motos principalmente na baixa cilindrada, Eles e Zeus custom são os meus favoritos. Sempre gostei da customização da interceptor 650 Diablo mas tenho que admitir que a Hunter ficou muito mais interessante. Parabéns para mais um magnifico vídeo.

Scrambler is the most practical in the lot. As a person who passionately rides a lot, fenderless tyres don't appeal to me anymore.

Same. Any design aspect that does not seem to aid practicality, or removes any existing practicality, does not appeal to me, rather infuriates me. Fenders are one such thing.

Man, I need those tires on my Royal Enfield Classic 350 !!!
they are the Firestone Deluxe Champion. After some wear, they are going to get flat very easily. And the grip is very bad. I don't recomend them. Why don't you try the Shinko e-270 tires. They look similar, and they have a better grip. :) Cheers.

Hunter proportions are good enough to modify it to any style you want. Brat style can be accomplished very easily.

I beg to differ as it depends pn the quality & content of the 'short'.
Most videos have very little new to say & waste time with fluff and advertising.
Shorts, if done well can be memorable & succinct.
In a world of ever increasing content & diminishing time - shorts can be the perfect solution.
He probably just means short “extensions” of longer videos, I doubt it will hurt his longer projects. I think many TH-camrs are doing it to broaden their viewer base.

What i meant, is that I am going to maintain the release these normal videos evry 2 weeks.
And from time to time, i am also going to publish short videos, some of them, about the bikes I already published in the past.

Very lovely, but, like the Continental GT500, the term "Sheep in Wolf's clothing" springs to mind. I know there is a market for such due to license restrictions etc ( as a kid I had a BSA C15 250 single with racing seat and fibre-glass racing tank and thought I was the bees-knees 🙂) but lets not pretend this is anything other than a cosmetic exercise.

Another great cafe racer video....just wondering what happened to your Yamaha XS 650 project with the Norton Interstate fuel tank ..been waiting but no update since long time.

E ao oferecer acessórios de customização com o mínimo de intervenção, a K-Speed consegue oferecer uma gama de possibilidades que só é possível a altos custos.
Obrigado amigo Alex por partilhar a sua opinião. Compreendo que o preço de alguns dos acessórios sejam caros aí no Brasil devido aos elevados impostos de importação. Mas comparando os preços com alguns sites aqui na Europa, até que se pode considerar valores relativamente razoáveis. :) Um abraço.
@@RACER_TV Sim, a impossibilidade de ter esses acessórios de forma simples e barata aqui, seria uma alavanca para o crescimento das modificações simplificadas, aqui no Brasil. Mas, exatamente por isso, importação não só cara, mas inviável por conta da burocracia (é sempre um tiro no escuro) que o valor das modificações no Brasil é amadora ou caríssima, pois é tudo feito de forma artesanal e exclusiva.
Já comprei peças fora do Brasil, assumindo os riscos, principalmente por falta delas no mercado local. Dei sorte!

My goal and a serious one is to get this exact piece of art by within a year max. The interceptor and continental are over priced. So hunter seem to be the perfect choice. And the fuel tank is already a good fit for cafe racer❤ jist loved the project entirely

I think i understand your perspective. In this case, the only thing that turn this bike on a "show ponie", it the front suspention, and the tires. But solving these 2 things, it becomes a perfectly rideable motorcycle. Thank you Susan for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

Olá Francisco, Obrigado pela dica. No fundo esta Macbor tem como base uma plataforma chinesa utilizada por várias marcas. Mas o mais curioso, é o depósito de gasolina desta Macbor. Tirando as fitas laterais, o depósito é mesmo muuuuito parecido com o da a minha CX 650. O tampão da gasolina cromado e colocado exactamente no mesmo sitio, a fita inox no centro, e até o formato geral do depósito. Parece-me que a Macbor anda a ver os meus videos. Lool. Um grande abraço.
