From wholly a dance/choreography perspective, the Mayyas have lovely synchronicity and stylized art, but very little movement - other than arms - by the majority of the group. Avantgardey, however, has the entire group MOVING around the stage, in CONTINUAL synchronization, and the choreography describes the song - both lyrically and musically. As a judge, I'd think, "Ok, which of these would I want to spend $$ to watch a 90-minute show of?" And in that consideration, Avantgardey gets the vote, as their choreography is distinctive, unusual, contains a strong cultural basis, and the preciseness of all the members' movements is mesmerizing. Yes, I want more.❤
Great, opinion, the world has voted the Mayas as 2 Got Talent champion, Avantgardey has never won, i see you in the judges chair being boo by the crowd, with that type of critic. because you are insulting a group with bios and not in a professional matter. because both groups are doing what you say only advent is doing one song describes the snake one the the birds, So thank god you are not a GOT talent judge cuz wow.. you bi like sisco from got talent Spain who's there just to say no , no mater how good acts are.

Both are super excellent dance ensembles with great skills and choreography. I like the Maya telling also a story and the hand motion to play the snake head is a cool surprise and so well done. Then again I like the sense of humor infused into their dance of Avantgardey. If I had to choose I might give them a point more for their unique way. But it would be a very close call for me.

面白いことに、2度のゴット・タレント・チャンピオンズ・ザ・マヤはそうではない。昨年AGTでアバンガルディという偉業を成し遂げたマヤ族が今年も挑戦する。ほとんどの日本人がコメントしているように、マヤが悪ければ、勝つチャンスはありません。私が言いたいのは、アメリカはアベンガルディに夢中になっているが、人々が自分を高めるために誰かを貶めるのは大嫌いだということだ。もし日本のファンがアベンガルディを良く見せるために他のファンを軽蔑し続けるなら、残念ながらアメリカの観客にマイナスの影響を与えるだろう。アベンガルディの今年の優勝の可能性を傷つけないでください。

I love the Mayyas but the intricacies, the originality, the perfect synchronization gives Avantgardey the edge.

Apples & Oranges. The Mayyas are ethereal, mesmerizing and synchronous, and Avantgardey are fast, sharp, crisp and fun. Both are pure awesome!
