And then you begin a kickstarter and you get fund in less than 24 hours .... Thank you from the bottom of my musical soul for doing all of this possible.
With all the features/innovations packed into this thing, I honestly expected it to hit market at close to $1k. I think $499 is a bargain. Thank you Joel et al. for bringing something unique and innovative to the looping space!
honestly ive been so invested in the journey but could barely keep up with what all the bloopers functions until tonight (binge watching the whole series at 2am) !!! BLESS you all for putting your souls into this, it's an ABSOLUTE modern classic.

I love the Mood so much, definitely tempted by this... this video is so cool - Chase Bliss is a company I really want to support! I was kinda expecting the pedal to be 350, so going to watch the previous vids and check the old bank account damage! (got a bit of time yet on the kickstarter)
Ohooo ! David Torn (who happens to be my Jimi Hendrix) is in the bLoop, looping by the LooPooL ! I was convinced with Blooper, and getting the DT seal of approval only comforts me in the idea to get Blooper as soon as possible !

The wonderful thing about digital FX is that it makes so many thing possible. The bothersome thing about digital is that, unless one starts out with a very narrowly circumscribed goal, it's hard to know when you're "done". Even though limiting oneself to the number of knobs and switches helps a bit, when any knob or switch can be assigned to yet another different function, one is still facing the problem of "How do I choose what I want, and others might want, this knob/switch to do?". It's herding *black* cats, in the dark, with your Corey Hart sunglasses on....and Griffin keeps turning the lights on and off.
As a user of many loopers - from Echoplex to Repeater and Boomerang and many many others - I really wonder why you didn't decide to give to Blooper a bigger box with more direct access to controls (like the two modifiers on the front). In a live situation - where I guess the Blooper could rly show is magic - nothing of what is shown here could be done without handsfree or a midi thing, Which means, in the second option, that at the end his footprint would be anyhow big (and expensive, and complicated).
What cable are you using to run that mic direct in? I feel like whenever I run a 58 into a guitar pedal i have impedance issues. Do you have fancy cable magic or is that mic magic, or...?
I agree. I'm not saying Blooper isn't worth it, but it's customary to give some sort of discount on Kickstarter to reflect the fact that there is no consumer protection at all. At $500 (plus, in my case, customs duty) this is well beyond my reach.
I see there's still a USB port on the side...is updating/changing modifiers still a possibility for the future? Also, I get the idea of mirroring the 'A' bank of modifiers to the 'B' side, and vice versa, but I was confused by the two DIP switches to control that - that's four states, but you only need three (no mirroring, mirror A->B, mirror B->A), right? what happens in the fourth state? What happens if they're both on? Maybe they just control whether each side is bank A or bank B, independently? Or is there another function I'm not thinking of? Thanks
Is the blooper stereo? I was searching all over for the info - one "gear-page" says it is stereo, but I am not sure. I see one jack for in/out, but it could as well be stereo, which recognizes if the cable is mono or stereo... but even the Digitakt is mono ;-/. Thanks!
Hi Joel and Knobs, can this pedal achieve something like Zoia's drunken looper or drunken delay? I'm looking for something that can hear a length of loop and play back a random length of it, starting from a random place in the loop. Sometimes at highly randomized levels the sound can be choppy and chaotic; perhaps a light crossover fade can be applied to make it more "musical"?
Could you do some videos focused around your approach to playing the guitar? I've never heard anyone play quite like that. It's very "trip-hop" and "lo-fi beats" style of playing but it literally blows everything I've heard out of the water. I would honestly pay for a lesson. Or give you serious cash to meet up and spend a day or two playing with you...

Yeah it's a fancy magic cable. It allows you to change the impedance of a mic, handy little thing. I use the Performance Plus MCT-1S.
