I have been a huge Bandai fan for years now I have invested & owned many MG's, HG's, RG's & Metal Builds but now I feel they are directing the market towards too many lackluster HG's & Recolors so I do not feel guilty for buying kits from new companies quality over quantity works for me in the end.

I have forgotten the last time I bought bndi kits because they're simply not worth it. (Nice kits are pb exclusive and the regulars are the things so random I don't even find interesting)
@@andreassetiawan7773 they have totally been shitting on the MG fans (i dont think ive bought a HG since the penelope) and catering to the recolored HG fans.
even the new and popular WFM kits were victims of cost cutting with all the c-clips and single piece hollow joints

I was hoping for the light rings that the Stargazer Gundam had in the OVA, but those iridescent swords are absolutely awesome looking!

The 'wings of light' mode made me laugh a bit because of course they managed to give a Seed kit that gimmick. That said, it just looks too good to pass up on like the Dragon Momoko Akatsuki.

It is undeniably awesome. However, I was hoping the gold parts and the blades come with standard release
The blades I don't mind being first time pre-order only (even tho they're really cool) but the gold parts? The light between the armor is a prominent feature in the stargazer and should've been kept in all their future reprints because the eternal star got sold out way too quickly before a lot of us got the chance to pre-order

It's not mindblowing but it is refreshing to see something so rare and neglected to be produced for the fans, me for one.
This is an instant buy, because this is the first decent 1/100 snap-fit stargazer that we had so far (not counting the resin kit), and I have been waiting for this.
I hope they could make other neglected kits as well, maybe uc like gelgoog jager, oberon (over-on).

Same here, we finally got nice looking and from look of it good build wise stargazer, mines already on the way. And totes agree we need a 1/100 gelgoog Jager, my fave goog from the line. Especially in Shin Matsunaga colours

Ruling is pretty much Verde Buster. Just get the 3d printed part for the helmet, and repaint it in Verde Buster Color.
Go the full HG line up and include Strike Noir, as well as Civillain Astray. Hehehehe

So I build this before watching the video and now I can't remove the red part on the shield as it has not been sanded down. How did you remove it, I tempted to put it in hot water to make it easier but not sure if the hot water would dmg the gold part
It would definitely look good if painted black

Man, I'm starting to appreciate these kits with simpler joints and articulations. Don't get me wrong, Hemoxian Thor is a masterpiece, but it got excessive number of joints and linkages, it can be a pain to pose.
I kinda get why Bandai MB line in recent years simplified their articulation for reliability (other than the metal frames being painful to deal with once they get loose).
I also like how they are unraveling the kit every week or so. Every time they put up promotional pictures, there's something new and more gimmicks are doable.

You know,when i start build thor inner frame,it was damnnnnn hard and i feel like im gonna bleed my finger very soon that time,i mean why the hell they have to make that part too tight? I almost give up when the part that i assembly was wrong and it took me a while to separate them,but after done assembling including decal,i really like this kit
@@ismailalias9466 I commented on this channel's Thor review about the extreme articulation. I am suspecting they're competing with flexing against each other. Might also be to show sponsors their marketability and worthiness. But the probable reason is to flex on Bandai and the JP gang. Kinda went overboard though.
@@carlorielmendez6505it seems that hyper-articulated model kits is becoming more common. Mainly because there are plenty of models that have boring gimmicks otherwise, so if they make the kit overly articulated, people will want it more. I like the range that lots of joints poses, but it depends on what the mech is an if it has lots of accessories that makes you want to play with the figure and pose it alot, which weakens the joints over time. But I agree, too many joints often ends up being more bad than good, at least eventually.

沒有給綠色呼拉圈特效，反倒把技術力搞錯地方...
可能是故意不搞呼啦圈 怕太明显了 （虽然已经够明显了😂）
훔 많이 기대하고 예약했는데 영상을 보니 기대에 많이 못미치네요.;;;
디자인은 좋은데 소재 때문인지 디자인의 묵직함을 제대로 살리지 못하고
부품수가 생각보다 많이 적어 아쉽네요.

another kit that looks better than anything bandai has put out this year.
It has basic HG level or lower construction and engineering. Don’t let some surface detail make you think it is somehow a superior product. Any company can do surface detail.
Chinese comments and reviews are actively dunking on it due to being overpriced for the engineering. It’s just big, over designed parts being attached with no significant linkage.
@@feral4047well to be fair he said it looks better, not builds better so I don't see the significance.
But yes I do agree some of the chinese kits are overpriced and under-engineered, but some are still worth it.
For the case of stargazer (glory) here, I'll say I'm gonna take the one who cares more as we haven't had any decent non resin 1/100 stargazer so far.
@@feral4047 dude, they are SO much more detailed than HG! yea they generally lack some of the articulation, but i was never going to pose any kit ive built in a position where its tickling its asshole with its pinky toe anyways. their detail level is closer to resin or detail up kits. kits like the trailblazer have beautiful manuals that do clever things like telling you all the runners that are going to be used for the arms, legs, chest, weapons, etc. which ive been wondering why bandai never bothered to do. plus they come with things like action bases instead of having to buy them 10 at a time, or leds which bandai makes you pay a retarded amount for. they are if anything closer to re/100 because they often lack an inner frame.. but the detail on the pieces is still WAY better. they are cheaper AND save me 200 hours of scribing PLUS come with extras? fuck bandai and their recolored high grades.
@@megaflux7144 detail for the sake of detail is completely pointless, especially if it's just unpainted surface greebling.
what you want is a nice canvas that you can use to do scribing, which you can't do on this kit.
@@megaflux7144 that’s fine. Bandai manuals have been telling you runners per section for over 20 years, though. They don’t on HGs since there’s too few runners to begin with, but sometimes they do on HG. MGs and PG have been doing it for two decades.

This is way to close to the actual IP so if Bandai finds out the studio is going to get the sued to the point of non-existence just like Dragon Momoko. Should have altered some of parts so it has that influenced look and not so much of an exact copy.

This looks mediocre.. Ball joints, C clip joints, left-right snap fit outer armor.. Joints are either too loose or too tight.

Hey guys I need help. I wanna buy a kit, but I don't want it to turn into a floppy mess over time and want articulated fingers. Either going for a mg ver ka or a perfect grade. I heard the mg do get really floppy (wanted to rx ver ka version), so thinking I should go pg instead.
Any help? I like the cooler looking mechs btw, so old looking rx is not for me. Any tips? This one looks really cool.
