I’m still confused on heater controls. If the AC button is on will the AC and heater run as well if I have the temperature up?
Yes, you need to press the sync button so that both passenger and driver seat are the same temp.

2:27 into the video you say you have to press the ac button for "cold" air..but ive noticed if i jus put the temp all the way down to 66 degress..that blows cold air with no ac button on🤷♂️

But why do we need the air recirculating button? Please explain. Should it be on or off with the aircon

It depends on the car model, but usually, the A/C button doesn't need to be on for the heat to work.
Is there a way to do this on Fords?
Hello everyone. This move clip its verry usefull but I have a small additional point to express myself. At 2:15 (aproximatelly) where is mentioned about AC button, there is a small missunderstanding, I think!? If you want cold air you don't have to press enything...the climate unit works allways with the AC on, evan that pictogram "AC ON" its not appear, so if you press AC button it will be changed on the AC OFF mode directly, showed on the display this time, and you can check that on 2:15 to 2:30 aproximatelly, in this moveclip here. I owne a Honda Accord Euro VIII (same as Acura TSX in US) and the climate unit works like this one also. Excuse my english (its not my native language) and thank you for this clip.

I got a 16 honda accord..all I have to do for cold air is turn the temp all the way to 66 without touching the AC button!

While starting to drive on a 95 degree day my 2015 Honda Accord climate control panel went completely off. When I took it to the Honda dealer, a service writer said they would have to perform a diagnostic test starting at $145. Did some research and it appears it would be the actuator. This fails when it is too hot in the cabin. I am going to try to fix this myself because I am a senior on a fixed income in the middle of Covid 19 and can not afford what the dealer will charge. Can you help me fix it?

When I turn on the heater and choose "Front" for windshield defrost why does my A/C turn on at the same time?? Weird
It might be a default setting in your car's climate control system.
