I'm curious of the potential connection between Alone and Mono because of how similar their names are, Mono means single or one but can also stand for Monophobia which is the fear of being isolated or rather "Alone" Perhaps something to take into account?
If Alone is confirmed to be the crow masked boy. Notice how he can go through the mirrors much like how Mono can traverse the TVs.
@@WintercuroI know this may not make since but what if he is some type of reincarnation of Mono. Alone means by yourself and Mono means one. The both have similar powers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do and up having some correlation.

I always found little nightmares disturbing for one fact : not only because of the monsters or the lore, but the fact that these kids live in a world where monsters lurk everywhere they go, no matter if it’s in an underwater facility, a rotten city or a massive dessert, there’s always something stalking them
at 12:54 the characters are holding hands and staring at each other so hopefully at the end instead of a betrayal we get a happy relationship
We won't have to have another hopeless ending this time IT CAN END POSITIVELY this time
One small detail. When the title screen drops they are holding hands but then they let go……..hope it’s not foreshadowing 😢

I love the fact that one of the characters is of a different race/culture. The bracelet on the African child's ankle seems cultural. Like as in African culture. Lots of beads and bracelets of bright colors are a popular cultural thing so maybe that's what it is. I love the inclusion of different cultures in little nightmares. We had Japanese inspiration in the first and second game. This one is giving me African inspiration with the landscape and the child. I'm so hyped for this!!

I am convinced that the character is black, just look at his hair texture, idk whats the name of that hairstyle but thats definitely a black hairstyle. I think thats cool. They are getting more diverse with their character desing.

I recognise this is a stretch, but the scene in the dessert with the suitcases could be a dried up sea bed. Something could’ve happened that broke the maw and dried the sea, spilling luggage everywhere? Probably not though
Could also explain how they get to the furnace area, if the maw was like beached or something

At gamescom, a producer confirmed that both characters are players, and you can choose to play single player or multiplayer
You know if you play with a friend, they're going to mess up on purpose in one of the co-op parts, betray you and get you killed.

I assume that broken mirror has a major role in main plot;last time we had it in first game to defeat lady which her power was absorbed by six.maybe we need that mirror again to defeat her this time !
Gameplay is somehow like second game and "It takes two" combined.
Oh, that would actually be really cool! Six has the Lady's power so she might get the mirror weakness as well! Imagine if she was the big bad of this game! Or maybe being possessed by the big bad or something. That would be so cool!

The first LN message was greed. The second LN message was about trying to escape from your reality. I think the third LN message is about accepting yourself and being happy with who you are. (Like looking yourself in the mirror, hence the mirrors in the trailer and even for marketing.)
Which would make sense since one of the children is black, so it could be something against racism.
Haven't seen anyone mention it but the place this game takes place in could very well be the dried up ocean where the Maw used to be. We don't know the time gap between any of the games, except for Littlest Nightmares, so this game could take either take decades, or centuries, in the future of the prequel game. Or it could've been a catastrophic event that took place.
It would be really cool to see remnants of the Maw in this game, as that's basically the most well-known location in the series, so it'd be nice to see some little callbacks.
Bro fr the time period's so unknown in this one it would be so cool if that was the case and this was what the future of little nightmares is where "humanity's" still alive now truly reliant on their technology and STILL being controlled by dystopic systems
I honestly thought that this game would take place at the Pale City before it went to ruin. See and know how the Thin Man time loop started and get more details and answers about it.
But I like this idea of yours. I’d like to have a sequel on a Little Nightmares game where we explore on a dried up land where the Maw used to be. Sounds cool!

omg i was just maxin and relaxin chillin and illin on youtube when i scrolled past and when i saw it i cried tears of joy the entire time watching it cant wait for it escpesially because i thought they were going to end the video game series because of tarsier studios being bought by another company

Jord! Jord! There is an artical by Xbox that gives us answers to many things from this trailer. It tells us the characters names, the name of the place, and even the name of those frozen adults from thw trailer. Apparently, they are even making a podcast for a new story set in this world!
The artical is called: "A first look into Little Nightmares 3's Necropolis."
They explained everything at Gamescom where the trailer was shown.

The fact that normal adult people are hiding and surviving and are just as exposed as the children here is awesome, just shows that not every adult in this universe is a monster
The deformed humans in this place who are a lot like the guests are slightly different in a really cool way on the account that THEY LOOK FUCKIN' HENCH unlike the guests who were just fat these guys have broader shoulders slimmer waists and meatier chests these dudes aren't fat they're BULKED and they're more like brutes especially the bouncer looking mfs enforcing the others to march in line
The character designs are so desert-y like they're outriders or something in desert tatters

I wouldn’t exactly call them normal adult people, they’re still pretty huge compared to Low and Alone (and honestly that’s for the best, I like that the only normal humans in the series are the children)
The mirror looks like it has a face on the top. To me it seems like a mustached face with a top hat. My first thought is the area with the hanging lights, guests and carts may be a caravan, or traveling circus? This possible face on the mirror seems like it may fit within this aesthetic.
You’re right! The face that pops up looks like it’s melting like the ferryman’s face. In the podcast the character sees the ferryman and talks to him.
Knowing that the Little Nightmares franchise gave us freights, shivers and shocks, I completely think Six will be back. Six has been in all the games so far (even a minor role in the Very Little Nightmares and being the main reason why TRK/Seven is ded). Six was here from the beginning, so it's possible she won't let it end without her.
Also, I realized that the bird mask kid used windows as a way for getting around, just like Mono did with tv's. I have a theory. Mono had that same type of power for tv's, but in the end he became the monster who also possessed the same kind as well. Does this mean that Low might be like Mono, and might have his one monster form as he grows up? Maybe, but maybe not.
Absolutely agree in both games the ending of six felt open, I always wondered what she done after the maw
Unpopular opinion time. What if Low has a special connection to the mirror most from the comics, and the mirror monster having something to do with the mysterious mirror in the trailer??....
She may show up as a small background character or maybe be important
I want her to come back but either way I think we need to stash this game away as a miracle cause the fandom it’s coming back
I bet instead of six appearing at the end she will appear in the beginning or she won’t appear at all but we will see belonging of six maybe…
Mono won’t appear because he’s trapped in an loop unless he meets them in the forest or the mirrors are time travel devices and the more you use them the more the main mirror brakes
And another reason why six may not appear is because it makes no sense as six would probably be stranded on the island ( “more”) or she would maybe be too unwell to travel as we have seen from her “crazy hunger”
OR MAYBE THIS GAME IS BASED IN THE FUTURE AND SIX HAS ESCAPED KILLLING THE MONSTERS WHICH IS WHY SOME AREAS HAVE BECOME GHOSTIFIED(probably not)

I have a theory!!! What if all the mirrors in Little Nightmares are broken because someone or something doesn't want the kid to travel? (apart from the Geisha not wanting to see herself)
In Little Nightmares II there are also broken mirrors, and the Geisha doesn't appear in the game and it doesn't look like a place where she would be, so it makes sense that one of the reasons the mirrors are broken is so the kid doesn't travel anywhere near any one of the villains or forbidden places. Maybe those specific mirrors in the 3rd game takes them to secret places

i agree, but the lady definitely does have some kind of connection to the pale city since in the dlc of the first game, you can see the portrait of the teacher in her quarters, insinuating they know each other. Also, theres a secret area in the second game where theres a statue of the lady, so idk

@@Genesis24680 im sure theres a vid of it on youtube, but it’s towards the middle to end of the game where you are able to go through a window and it leads you to a secluded room that has one of the breakable statues of the lady from the first game. You also get an achievement along the lines of “this seems familiar”.
I'm curious about two things in particular.
1, will six or mono appear?
2, is the main entity of this game the mirror. (Like how in the first game had the maw and the second had the tower. A place that seems to be living, and somewhat sentient, but has someone in control of the area but seemingly subservient. It looks like the crow kid has walk through abilities with mirrors, as mono did with tvs, so it does seem like they will have some sort of powers.
Six? 50/50 chance
Mono? High unlikely unless they show him in paintings as a Thin Man or we see his paper bag somewhere as an Easter egg.

@@behindthecookie8653We'll possibly see Him in the form of The Thin Man on a drawing or painting, like in Little Nightmares 1 and Little Nightmares 2, before we actually see Him. He does have a big influence in the Nowhere and His existence as shown to reach The Maw, the location of Little Nightmares 1.
I always theorized that the figure in the digital comics episode 6 that released before Little Nightmares 2, was some sort of previous occupier of The Signal Tower. Like The Thin Man, there's a signal interference sound in the digital comic, He purposely turns on the sprinklers so it becomes dark, to use the shadows to His advantage, if you edit the image (like brighten it) you can see His facial appearance resembles The Thin Man's, but more malevolent and He's also wearing a suit. He's much more aggressive then The Thin Man and I always had this head-canon that this figure could be the one behind the malevolence in the Nowhere, since His character shows it and He's rather intelligent. It also states that something in Little Nightmares 3 is lurking in the shadows after Low and Alone on one of the official articles you can look at.
What makes "lurking in the shadows" so important in my opinion, is that on the Little Nightmares 2 page about The Thin Man, it says something very similar or nearly identical.

So, whatever this greater threat is, does a similar tactic to The Thin Man and like The Tall Figure from the sixth digital comic. So, it's very well actually possible The Thin Man, The Tall Figure may make a presence in this game, or could be a different individual that's similar to them.
I remember seeing a concept art about the giant looking baby in the middle of a city, perhaps it has a connection with the previous game

Most of the frames seems to take place in the maw, so maybe the kids will travel to them by the mirrors.
Another theory might be the redemption of six as the lady, turning all the gnomes back to childrens, so thats why we see the furnace of the hiddeaway whit a lot of pillows.

In the clip with the beams and there's bags hanging which made me of the body's we see in the maw wrapped up. Wondering if maybe we get to see parts of the maw again through traveling through the mirrors. The guest like creatures may be the guests getting onto the ship that takes them to the maw maybe?
I hope they will still continue the story about the 1st and 2nd game and we will get the answers on thin man and six even though they are not the characters anymore

I love that there seems to be a brand new circus themed area really looking forward to exploring these brand new areas with these two new characters and encountering never seen before terrifying enemies!
and these creatures inhabiting this place to me seem to be a mix of the guest and the viewers, who's name make a lot of sense in a circus which are usually for entertainment. really excited and curious to see what's going on here and all the new various different areas as well!

Huh, funny, having a gigantic enemy searching for you with light from their eyes(Arkham Asylum Scarecrow-style), is an idea I had for Little Nightmares, ever since the Runaway DLC.
oddly enough, I googled "little nightmares 3" earlier today. when I saw the trailer pop up in my recommended, I thought it was fake. So glad it wasn't. love the analysis, can't wait for more leading up to the release.

I'm gonna play so much of this game but I don't think it looks enough like little nightmares it looks almost too bright but the multiplayer is something I've wanted for years and I'm happy it's being incorporated
Just a weird little thought of mine, but I like to think this will take place years/decades before little nightmares 1 and 2, and one of the kids in the new game becomes the FOUNDER of the maw.
ITS INCREDIBLE. I my opinion they are taking ispiraton from the comics. Gives 9 vibes the film of Burton, and in the second part It almost seem mediaval. Big big expectation

Alone seems to be able to travel using mirrors which reminds me of the Mirror Monster from the LN Comics.. Could that be on purpose?
In the thumbnail of the game it seems like there's a fog person behind Alone and Low which could be the North Wind

I'd assume you've heard about it by now. but low (the crow), has a bow and arrows as their item. and then alone (the madmax-esc character) has the wrench. they're seemingly permanently held items like mono's key-ring

The nets look like dream catchers to me. Seems some of the places and items they hold was what Noone was explaining in her story. The pipes with leeches, the mason jars, the wagon for circus poor jester.
THEORY!: I strongly believe that its going go be the wind mentioned in the comics thats going to be the big bad in this game. Other thing is that we see guests near a "shore" maybe the game ends in our character arriving at the MAW and maybe even meet six coming out!!!!

It seems like there is some ideas used from the "old comics" for example:the desert may refer to the north wind, the character ability to use mirrors(the mirror man) and the charm may also refer to the one from the "old comics" (despite the difference). "the old comics" may not be Canon but the ideas may be re-used in a different maner in ln3

8:17 and 10:09 It seems like a dock of some kind. It’s wet, there are wooden floor boards, and there seems to be shops on the sides. Since the monsters are similar to the ones on the Maw I feel like this area is the dock that the Maw goes to to pick up new customers.
Also some of the monsters are wearing fishing garments.
It looks kind of like a carnal with those string lights but it's definetly a dock because why tf would there need to be a carnival

I just want to thank you jord. I loved watching your theory videos for the original game back when they were made, I remember spending a few hours a day looking at videos for the original little nightmares. I did the exact same with the second game.
Now 6 years later I get to do it all again, and I am so unbelievably excited, not only for the game, but for all the crazy theories and videos you and others make about it. Videos like this took up a big part of my life back then, and I just wanted you to know that you are and forever will be one of my favourite creators on this platform.

I'm glad we're getting an other game but at the same time I'm more cautious about this one. The only reason I even liked little nightmares was cause tarsier studios sold me on the game itself,
as good as super massive game are this will be the test to whether I buy the next game or say good buy to this series.

Well going by the trailer it’s retained that creepy atmosphere which is definitely one of my favourite things about this series I’m so excited to explore these brand new areas with these intriguing looking new characters

It's an whole new story with an whole new world
Low&alone are tryna escape the nowhere as they're trapped in spiral in a world full of delusions ect.
Where as before six&mono was in the real world no delusions no escape from the dangers of the world, it's survival 24/7 with only darkness at the end of the tunnel , plus six n mono weren't tryna escape they were just fulfilling theirs destiny they're endings are foreshadowed from the very start granting the illusion of chance but as they edge closer to they're ends u realize there never was ine.
Tarsiers made people obsessed wit how they executed both stories having us thinking up theories, leaving us shock at the betrayal ect ect. I'm giving little nightmares 3 a chance and hype to do so, but they gotta bring it ,
Wat if the reason all the mirrors were smash was so people didn't travel through them asif they are afraid of then
By the looks of things the mirror at 10:40 will play a similar role to the Lady at the beginning of LN and the door at the beginning of LN2. A hint towards the overarching antagonist of the story. Evidence to back this up includes the slow approach of the camera, the eerie lighting, and, interestingly, the smog rapidly expanding to surround said mirror. This combined makes me think that the part of the game being teased here is the transition between the initial nightmare cutscene to our protagonist.

Let's hope this game is good. It looks incredible don't get me wrong. But FNAF Security Breach looked good in its trailers too and we all know how that turned out. My hype is uncontrollable and my heart is racing. *LITTLE NIGHTMARES IS BACK BABY*
Steel wool never made a non VR game, hence why breach was so shit.

Difference is that Supermassive Games know what they are doing and are capable of making games like Little Nightmares.
Steel Wool however barely has experience making games that aren’t VR, which explains how Security Breach turned out.

Also I have a theory for one of the monsters.
As you can see , in a few scenes it looks like we are in a circus! And in another scene we can see lots of hands (5) I think we will have to face a circus clown as an enemy . The reason for all the hands? Juggling !
And I just wanna point out, ever since little nightmares was made , I always thought it was a lot like the film 9 . Now it’s in a desert theme area with a character looking a lot like 9!

Is the new enviroment an abandoned/decayed version of the Maw?
Theres a few scenes where a few locations in the trailer feel familiar or even abandoned versions of the Maw's locations.
The deserted setting might of even been an ocean that had its water dried out.
Same thing could even be said about The Pale City!
Its probably too early to tell right now but its something to consider haha!

But our view of Pale City in LNII comes from before LNI, and we know that the oceans were still there in LNI. This is still possible for LNIII, though.

When you pointed out the adults turned to stone and the light coming from the baby's eye, the idea of a nuclear disaster hit me like a ton of bricks! Notice that Alone is wearing a HAZMAT SUIT! And the stone man/person seems to be wearing thick gloves similar looking to construction or HAZMAT ones. Maybe the Guests from Little Nightmares 1 weren't normal people twisted by the Signal Tower, maybe they were twisted by a nuclear study gone wrong. Perhaps their insatiable hunger is a product of it and that's why "the Maw makes sense".

The cracked mirror reminds me of the Geisha Lady seeing herself in the mirror, some locations are also similar to the ones of Maw and Pale City. Low can travel trough mirrors like Mono was able to travel trough TVs. There are suitcases all around and the fat people are there again, as if the Sea the Maw was in or will be in is without water. The shadow also reminds me of Six dark shadow ghost.
So looking forward to this game and see where the story goes and what happened to this world

Do you think it’s like the maw has been abandoned since when they are on the plank you can see like bags in the background like in the maw with the chefs
and the burner room with the furnace could be the room in the dlc from the first little nightmares with the runaway kid and gnomes
Also in the hand pipe scene they could be in the sewers of the maw when the leaches were in the pipes they could be there

I think one of the enviroments in the game is a travelling carnival because in the second game the creators got an enviroment like a school that usually is a safe place for a child and turned into a nightmare version of it though a child's perspective de could consider that their doing the same in this game.
The three hands all have a different collor, maybe it is like 3 people stitched up together

My question is that we will finally have a sequel to Little Nightmares 1. That shows us the future of this universe. Or they will take us to the beginning of everything and how the signal tower or the nest were created. of the maw I doubt it

I think that the kid was hiding in a plane and It sudenly crushed thats why he is like in the middle of a desert with breafcases In the ground and we se can also see that the cinematic is in the desert so Im asumming that is the start of the game
it is a marvel that in 50 seconds you were able to say literally nothing other that "lets analyze the trailer for this game" in about 80 different ways.
hoping that this is not a reboot game and hopefully they added more many bosses,characters,play time than other 2 previous games and the connection between them with mono or six

I keep telling people, don’t let the childlike nature of these games or graphics fool you. This series and world is both creepy and disturbing. The DLC and 1-2 really scared me while being chased so many times. Can’t wait for the 3rd Nightmare✨
