Ateneo student here for 6 years, from 2nd grade to 7th now about to be 8th grade. Ateneo got esport tournaments, amazing teachers, amazing food, amazing library and more i can't mention because too much good stuff, bad thing is tuition cost but its very worth it. Edit: the stuff I mentioned are available for junior high school, not sure about senior and college

yes i understand what you’re saying and dw majority of us take our education very seriously lol. and ykw the truth is, for most private universities, you’re not just paying for the education per se but also for the perks that it comes with that MAY give you an advantage later on (ex. connections, branding, etc) & that’s one reason why some parents choose to spend a little bit more on their children’s uni - it’s not a waste, it’s an investment. again not saying one uni is better than the other - each university has its own perks to offer. if you chose/choose to go to a uni w free tuition good for you but don’t make others who chose differently feel bad - we all have our reasons✌🏼
Raya Maurelle 100% this! its not that colleges with free or lower tuition is bad. the only reason you should consider going to a ‘prestigious’ college is for the brand and connections! many careers can benefit from having a network (law, medicine, business). it’s just a jump start thing, it’s nothing required. if you can afford to go to a school like ateneo or la salle, there should be no issue.
Back in the early 2010s there were 4 batches of AISIS enlistment! Haha being in the 4th batch was a hunger games for the remaining slots in classes 😅 And wow inflation is real! Tuition fees weren’t that high when I was in college 😰

One thing i have trouble getting information on is about their summer break. During the summer I'm pretty busy and i travel a lot so i want to know how this will affect my schedule. My sister graduated from dlsu so I'm a bit more familiar with their calendar, but in admu, since there's only 2 terms per school year, given that you dont have to take summer classes, how long are the summer breaks usually, and what month do they start / end?

gissneric i don’t think the admin reads the reviews in profs to pick hehe.. but we do evaluate the profs towards the end of the sem and those are the ones that they take into account ☺️

queen hi! im cureently in the ateneo senior high and i can answer that question (slight bxjsns). ateneo is a very ‘green’ oriented school. the lack of aircon reduces the carbon footprint. the school also swapped out plastic water bottles for water boxes, have an electronically charged jeep (ejeep) that you can use as transportation to go around campus (for free!), and encourages carpooling by enforcing a carpool first rule (in the senior high, if before 7:30 the guards see that you don’t carpool but are using a private vehicle, you’re told to turn back).
Mango Crepe expect it to be around late July to August. Don’t worry, if u plan to go to ADMU, freshmen orientation seminar people will find you. Just make sure they can reach u thru fb.
