- It's been about a month since I cracked a Star Wars action figure open so I was going into withdrawals. Lucky for me I still had some left in my Hasbro Black Series wave 19 case to ease the pain. and Rio Durant, Hoth Leia, and Skiff Guard Lando hit the spot! The longer I do this, the more I make with the drug/food/toy metaphors. Hmmmm....

On vacation in the USA an just hunting for black series ! Hitting target wallmart and even Disney world !!! So nice to be able to walk into a store an buy them for review we just don't get this stuff in England at normal prices !!
Lando painted dark around his eyes for the bounty hunter disguise
I love how you put these reviews together. It speaks to why you do this, just for the fun of it and help others decide. Not to grab views from separate videos. Although I like watching them separately, love the comedy.
Plus it's gets me to playing with more toys faster, haha. I appreciate it man!
on that Leia figure when you did the side by side. you can see the seam line where they changed the hair. the back of the head is interchangeable for different hair styles during manufacturing.
I like the Hoth Leia out of this set. Hoth Leia looks great alongside Bespin Escape. Although, the Bespin escape Leia is one of my favorite figures of the year.
I did like Solo, said like. Why did they kill Rio so quick.

I found a Rio at Target last weekend, just love it! My ankle joints are sticking on mine and I have the same stress mark on the same peg, I won't be moving it much from now on. Though you missed one extra joint on Rio, mine appears to have ball joints in between the ankles and pant cuffs.

I got lucky with bespin Leia yesterday Last one at my Target which also ,finally had gamorian guard, like 6 of em....if I had $180 just lying around I'd of snagged the bunch. I just got a want Lando ahh I ust have to do Dremel head swap, I thought I can live with it ha! Not after seeing the face print on your skiff Lando. Damn they got good over night on this stuff or what? Lol a good evening to you Robo I always enjoy the reviews.

Awsome Action Figure review
Lando came in the mail a couple days ago. Very impressive. I tried to pull his head off and see if it fits the old Lando figure but the neck kept popping off instead. I haven't had time to try pulling the neck off of the head.
His gun comes with Kanan Jarrus, but I'm not buying the figure just for that.
The Lando is super great but I just love the Rio. I need two!!
This wave is probably wave of the year for mine. I needed every single one of them (Bespin Han I waited for). And they're all home runs in my eyes. Han is actually the most meh (his headsculpt is a bit off, but when I look over to my shelf, he blends in nicely with Bespin Leia and Lando). The Solo characters are all great and it's nice to feel a sense of completeness when you get a handful of characters at once. Managed to actually round off a lot of groups with Bespin Han joining Leia, Lando and Luke... Hoth Leia joining Han and Luke (although we need Empire Chewie!)... Dengar for the bounty hunters (although I'm actually waiting on Zuckuss to arrive). What a great wave!

if the joints are to tight run them under warm water, it will losen the plastic. I did that to Zuckuss, his foot wouldn't move until I did that. "you're welcome" -Baze Malbus

all i need is hoth leia and i have this set for this year complete.
What i do is when the paint is flat i take a regular 50cent black paint from walmart and dry brush to look more screen accurate it works wonders for me try it out

Thanks for another great review. I am really impressed with these latest releases. I am eagerly waiting on my Dengar, Skiff Lando and Hoth Leia from Dorkside. Does anyone know if the Hoth Han from the Echo Base 2 pack will be available as a separate release in the future? If so, I will hold out on that set.

I bet the scope on Rio's pistol is supposed to be outside of the holster. I think that's what the slot is for.
They use t-crotch joints on the 6-inch figures because it works well, and use y-crotch on 3.75" figures as a middle finger and to tell 3.75" fans to move to 6".
May be true, but before that they tried to make 6" collectors move to 3.75" by stopping 6" altogether, and we told them no.
It's kind of a shame that The last Jedi and Solo weren't as successful as they should have been.
My local Wal-Marts and the like had most of the figures from both movies on clearance.
And it seems they don't want to order any more.

It’s really hard to decide on witch one I like more the Hoth or ANH leia because I think both of the face sculpts look good but idk witch one I like more
I picked up Leia from Gamestop the other day. I think she's just wonderful, but boy for some reason she has a hard time standing. It's like her feet aren't flat enough so that she'll kinda tilt back or something real easy.
Yeah, the small feet and the detents make it a little difficult. Work the ankles for a bit, loosen them up, makes it a little easier.
The elbow joint on my Hoth Leia was so stiff that when I tried to bend it the joint snapped off at the tiny spigot! Argh! I attempted to super glue it and even added a drop of Balistol (a high grade lubricant) in the hope of loosening the joint as though it were a rusted nut stuck on a bolt, but to no avail. Leia is doomed to have her arm ripped off by a wompa in all my future photos of her
I dislike that they omitted Lando's holster for no apparent reason.

Solid reviews. The ESB Han is probably my favorite black series release so far, but han's eyebrows are glossy and that seems to have carried over to lando's mustache. It's very distracting and doesn't look good.

I hate the joint system in black series. Those detens is what you end up with. Plus they become loose in certain range. As much as I appreciate what hasbro is doing, I think they could try to up their game even a notch higher and invest in slightly better joints, especially in the knees. BTW, I wonder what new SW figures will be shown at tokyo comic con, or whatever the show is called. All I wish for is SHF Grievous, Battle droid repaints and mafex Jango Fett. That would be quite a lineup. As for Black Series, I only hope they will re-release krennic with face printing
tech, because sadly it doesnt seem like any import companies have him on their rooster, which is truly a shame. Unless we start seeing loads of
imperial officers from shf, which could be good enough of an excuse for them to release Director too.
