    I am 63. and was at this gig. I have seen James live at least 80 times. They never fail to deliver and can turn even a massive arena gig into
    a moment of intimacy between band and audience.

    This video is great but doesn't quite capture the energy of pure love and unity that the 1800 long term, deep delve, James fans listening intently had at the start. No cheering, or whooping because they knew that they were seeing a different gig to the arena ones. They had provided a supportive connection from the start which allowed the band to.feel the love and respect in the room for what they were trying to achieve.
    Tim has sung this song since 1989 but had never done it this way. This is probably the closest version of how he sung it to his father in law just before he died of covid.
    It's why we go to see James. To be able to be part of something that is always different, evolving and in the moment. A connection.

    some changes of lyrics and rythmn , but still a great James song, an anthem... I can't wait to see and ear you in Thessaloniki in next september !
