Nice walkthrough, thank you for taking the time to create this. I'm just into City of my second run. I took extra time to build up some characters like Quick Silver and Dorm, delayed my start but they have payed off in other aspects.
On my 5th dd6 run , yet I still watch these dd6 videos to stay focus for dd7 lol

Catalyst are my main bottleneck right now. Before I started dark dimension I thought I had enough that I wasn't concerned about it. Now I need 400 basic catalysts just to complete my lizard for the city section
DD6 planner is realy good - I have a budget plan that has no mini unique clashes - it is a compromise and I wont be building until I have the resources farmed and may pivot as I go through if I get more uniques - I am also reluctant to build anything above GT15 without understanding the impact on the DD6 plan. I see a lot of optimal advice from CC's but practically on a F2P first run you can't double or triple up on uniques.
Just want to throw out there that Vahl is not "required". I hear a lot of people say that cosmic is possibly the hardest section in DD6 however I beat all three nodes of that section in just 5 attacks.
I did not use Vahl in any of those sections and I don't plan on taking her into my second run.
The team I used was Kang, Kestral, both Eternals and Photon. This team provided so much damage output and control that it made the cosmic section of DD6 super easy. In fact I would say it was possibly the easiest section for me however I was able to one tap all three nodes of the city section so I can't say that.
Great insight and adding in another strategy folks can utilize! As everyone's roster inventory levels are different, it really just depends on what the constraints are and building characters of value to the roster. Cheers!
@@RaygeMSF completely agree. I know not everyone had a stockpile of the Unique piece needed for Ikarus like I did.
I know Osmium is a major crunch so I am glad I didn't take Vahl to 18 since I need those mats to take Nightcrawler in for my second run through global. Global was the section that sucked for me.
What team you used in city
@@77avijit I used Vulture, Mysterio, Kraven, Lizard, Robbie. Robbie and Mysterio carried the rest of the team. Basically the idea was the control the other side with the SS characters using ability block and blinds and bleed. and then use Robbie for damage.
Now Mysterio is was super expensive and it did mean I didn't have enough tech gear to take Doc Ock and GG into the legendary nodes. But I was able to take Nick Fury instead of GG.
But that was my city team and I one shot each node
@@77avijit Mysterio special is what I took him for. He blinded and ability blocked all enemies. Plus his passive keeps them from gaining immunity.
So far I’ve finally reached the global section of DD6 and as you said. Those mini-uniques ARE HELL. I made the mistake of upgrading vahl early thanks to Kyln. Couple that with my alliance only doing incursion 1, I’m really not getting what I need to consistently keep going every day
Upgrading Vahl is not a mistake. They are a key figure in the Cosmic section.

Sooo true..I leveled Morgan and got stuck in cosmic forever because I didn't have Vahl. Same issue with Suoerskrull and Hive team.
Yessir classic, not your fault or anything intentionally man. the uniques is a huge trap 🤣 now you know for next time brother! 🫡
As somebody who left the game for 1.5 years and have come back… my Strat is going to be to “skip” Skrull for now. Build up Out of Time to max level and G15 so I can counter Skrulls and then wait for DD7. Make my plan for that and just use the same toons to do DD6 at the same time in essence to unlock Skrull on my way to Mephisto

Since those toons will have to go to G19 I will just use the same ones to run DD6 as well. No point in my opinion focusing one one toon (Skrull) when a counter is coming out and my account has a lot of catch up to do from being away. Would rather focus on my Raid Teams and Crucible Teams to get caught up faster
Bad or not, but I am just building up new characters that have released since I restarting playing again. VK, Red Gob, Gwenom, GGC, Black Knight, Starbrand (I had Gambit, MLF, Kang, Rulk, Apoc, Kestrel, and Weaver done already). My biggest constraint is gold. most of my roster is at 90 from a year ago or so when I had stopped playing and nobody between invaders and VK is above level 10
I have that issue. I´m one Osmium to be able to enter Cosmic. The other two issues that I have is that Robbie uses the same as doom and dormammu and I only have 11 for him and I need all the 65 again for Nova. Those two are my bottle necks for DD6.
i got my first character to G18 yesterday though i mainly did him as i had a ton of vibranium and no one else i planned to use need vibranium so captain america is just waiting in the wings till i can G18 someone else
I'll be finishing my timed run tomorrow. Just curious on prep for DD7. All I know is focus on Mythic, but really at this point I have just started levelling up toon and not gearing them up and hording. Just curious on strategies for being ready to hit DD7 running
Do you think gewnom would be good for the city section of dd6?
Actually, she has decent kit and all, love the fact she no longer shares Alien Spores unique with the update. Definitely could be a strong addition in DD6, she's got stuns but overall lack of synergy with characters aside from Hive-Mind. Imo, the Superior 6/Sinister 6 are better options to consider

Yep, I told my Alliance not to be making G16s. Just take toons to G15 lvl 90/95 and they will still get the job done for raids, war and cc for them.
Any and every teal gear unique is going to be a luxury. You need all of this to elevate them to G19 and beyond, so really makes sense to truly think about options that can be used for Mephisto unlock and future. It's a management resource game where there are unlimited opportunities to upgrade characters and unfortunately many players fall into these traps. Good choice on your part and that's why it's important also finding an alliance that aligns with our gaming values. Cheers!

I started dd6 with just 13m tcp finally I feel great but it’s painful.
Feels bad that black knight crushes him so soon.
Just did my first round on DD4, I used ikaris in DD3 and DD4, I felt like he was really good in both, ikaris for DD5 and 6 ? , any thoughts.
I can tell you that Ikaris for DD6, in my opinion, without Sersei is useless. You need both and it’s 10x easier. I took Vahl, Ikaris, Sersei, Photon, and Kang.

What is the optimal city team? So far I have ghost rider Robbie built up and that’s it.
It's INSANE how broken this team is: Hard Light, Robbie, Lizard, Kraven, and Vulture. Literally each origin trait and different uniques, can 1-shot every node. Insane synergy across the board lol

nah i disagree about venom bc he's good in dd6, and for me i didn't use a lot of bio guys in global like you. also he's a better option than 2099 but i'm not saying take all hive mind just one and for me that's venom. he's the tank for the team so being built is good and his kit is good too. his stats were just lacking. also depends on your luck when opening g18 orbs too. also i know doc oct cost a lot but not many use his unique like nova. also not a lot of tech options. also doom probably better option than quicksilver bc dd7 will have that new section for guys like him and dormamu. so stalk up on miasma, thankfully i been buying that piece for awhile just in case i wanted to build doom n dorm.
