    Great video as always I really enjoy the way you review and test your products Sandro you always try and exhaust every accpect of the product and back it up with evidence. Before i started my detailing journey. AS and when we got a new compound or polish I would try it only a few times and make a snap decision with no thought of how to explore the best use of the compound. That was due to my lack of knowledge and true understanding of how compounds work. Now i use them for a few months with different pads, speeds and pressure so i get a much better idea of its true potential I have you to thank for that. When it comes to testing. Dont STRESS Do your BEST forget The rest IN sandro we trust.

    Great thorough review. The Lemon smell is the only down side as most customers would be unhappy as in the UK lemon is a reminder of a toilet cleaner. That’s why you never see a lemon car air freshener.

    I only offer 2 interior clean options and one is thorough and the other is really thorough!!!!

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      InnerQD really isn’t going to be a deep interior cleaner like Inside, but if you get that interior that just needed a little spruce up or you get a maintenance on an interior you’ve recently already deep cleaned, that’s what this product is really about, maintenance and not deep cleaning.

  • @hondacar
    @hondacar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It seems like a great product . I don't drive my car on a regular basis so the interior remains quite clean however, dust does build up over time. My question is would this product , with regular use, have a drying effect on a leather's/vinyl's/plastic's etc., natural oils which could lead to cracking of the material?

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Based on what I’ve experienced with InnerQD it would have quite the opposite effect in that it should help your leather protectants/conditioners last longer. It’s really not a product that breaks down existing protection, surfaces or even dirt or grime, it more or less gathers light dust with some lubrication, kills some gems and lays down some short term protection - it’s very mild

    Very well thought out and presented review Sandro. Inner QD looks like a really good product and one of the best "quick detailers" for the inside of a cabin on the market today which isn't surprising being that it is from CarPro. I am a sucker for lemon smelling products too which to me personally gives the impression of "clean". Can't wait to get my hands on some of this to give it a try.

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see no reason why it wouldn’t work well to wipe down a canvas top, I’d just tend to question how long it would last in an out door environment on a daily driver. I would tend to think that using an exterior quick detailer like Carpro Elixir may last longer and also improve the water sheeting on a convertible top.

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing

      If they are on the up and up and sold through retail they really should be fine especially if it’s 100% isopropyl alcohol. Just be sure to dilute it with DI water accordingly to make your ready to use IPA solution, and I’ve used Diggers in the past, it’s fine.

How does this CarPro Detailer compare to Nourish and could I use it to maintain NV Guardian on my leather seats?

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My pleasure mate, and although I haven’t done any direct comparisons I would guess that InnerQD is maybe a touch lighter in terms of protection, perhaps similar in term of light cleaning and Nourish isn’t really a sanitary cleaner nor does it have the same scent, though I would expect InnerQD to work just fine over Guardian as it seems to be quite neutral and universal on many surfaces and products.

    I would tend to agree, 19$ for a small 500ml bottle is too expensive for a quick detailer. Even if you don't seem to use a lot of product per wash. My previous interior qd was einzett/nexzett and cost me 10$ for 500ml.
    I don't understand the price, since it's such a simple product. Bit of smell, light cleaning and fast drying. Probably ipa with a bit of smell like a window cleaner or carpro eraser. But i guess the pandemic has made every alcool based product an expensive thing.
    The antidust claims have been made a lot previously for exterior quick detailer and interior too. it's just something that you can't quantify or barely notice. I tried one from a british company, and i couldn't observe any noticeable effect on pollen and light dust.
    Now that covid is a thing, every company to put out a product with high alcool concentration, it's labelled anti-microbial. Which is probably fair, but should window cleaner be labelled as such too such for the sake of it? Marketing much?
    I think interior qds are a good solution to do maintenance clean fast and easy for most cases, but they don't need to be over complicated and overpriced.

      Idk mate, any time a product makes claims that are hard to verify, red flags immediately go up for me. I'll feel much more comfortable once there's a single video on TH-cam confirming the anti static properties. My thought is - any time you rub a towel onto something, you're creating a static charge. So how do these products remove that charge, and why don't we have car waxes and sealants that claim to be anti static as well?
      As far as confirming that products are anti microbial...that just seems like a rabbit hole. In the US, the EPA now certifies products that make these claims, but I wouldn't even know where to begin in researching CarPro certifications. What's even more concerning for me with CarPro is how they don't make their SDS sheets readily available. Any legitimate chemical company will provide links to SDS sheets so you can determine product safety before you make a purchase. CarPro, and any other company, makes themselves look like a mickey mouse operation by not providing that information. I think Gyeon is notoriously bad with SDS sheets as well

    Anti-microbial is a loose term. Wiping over a surface with just water is an anti-microbial action. 1 drop of dish soap in 1 litre spray bottle of water will clean a surface safely also with anti microbial properties. Cleaning mitigates microbial risk. The term is used loosely as none of the claim can be measured in real world situation without controlled sampling and ATP testing etc. Anti microbial is also non specific and does not imply that it kills viruses. It merely implies it mitigates a broad spectrum of potential microbial development.
    Its a Marketing word.

      It’s a very light cleaner so I would expect it to be quite safe on alcantara

    Would you use this as a prep for PERL?

      Generally not, I’d tend to use Inside for a deeper clean before applying Perl and then use InnerQD to maintain it

    Great vid as usual sandro. I am just a hobbyist detailer and love your videos. I've recently came across Repcos Eclipse brand and for the current sale price it seems very, very tempting in the 5L container. Wondering if you'd ever do a review on Repco's new Eclipse line, Aussie made retail grade products. In particular the "ceramic polish" and wheel cleaner as the price of these usually adds up quickly. *mainly because i don't want to use premium products for my families daily/work vehicles which are maintained fortnightly*.

      Thank you mate and I’m definitely open to reviewing pretty much any product or brand, abs being local and well priced is always great so I’ll put the Eclipse range down on my list and if there’s a bit of interest moving forward I’ll grab a few products and test them out!

      @@CarCraftAutoDetailinghave you tried the eclipse interior cleaner yet? I'm curious too of how the product performs.
