Caring for Sheep and Goats Ear Tagging

The FAO Sub-regional Office for the Caribbean is supporting the Government of Grenada to develop its small ruminant industry. The Caring for Sheep and Goats training video series supports this effort and comprises of nine short videos geared towards helping farmers with the management and production of sheep and goats.
The training video series covers the following topics:
1. Aging Sheep and Goat using Teeth
2. Ear Notching
3. Ear Tagging
4. Ear Tattooing
5. Body Condition Scoring
6. Forages for Sheep and Goats
7. Grasses for Sheep and Goats
8. Hoof Trimming
9. Weighing and Use of Weight Tape
Training is delivered by Dr Gabrielle Young, FAO Small Ruminants Consultant, under the Agreement between the Government of Grenada and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Technical Assistance to the World Bank Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Regional Agricultural Competitiveness Project (AGRICOM).
