Ok....When I say this I soooo mean it. I have no idea how much research and time it involves in bringing a quality and informative vlog to life. What I do know is that when someone with your insight is on the scene, they need to be heard and seen more. I am no way trying to lift you to a place where your ego is unbearable but you really do need to vlog more. There are folks on Basenotes who are so incredibly good at describing and bringing you along in their fragrance journey. So Fragrance Apprentice, I only hope you can present more for us here to enjoy, especially since you really tell the truth.
My friend, thank you so much for the kind words. truly it means alot! Also, if this is how you feel you are truly going to love next week's episode. Regards, FA.
I'm sure I'm not alone in going back to re-watch your reviews as standalone pieces of artistic content. I have owned this fragrance for years and have no need of the information to inform a purchase, but I'm still watching this review for the third time to enjoy your insights. Great work, my man.
I've been blown away by your videos recently. Your presentation style is unique, your knowledge vast, and your point of view essential. Please keep it up. 5/5 to you and this video!
Your visual interpretation of the fragrance: It’s a sunny day, the soothing cool meditative music playing, You’re outside and jump on the pool, the sight and sounds of blue clear water splashing, and the sound of the sea at the end of this video... reminded me of when I was living in Santa Barbara California, where I lived five minutes away from the beach, and how life was easy and fun back then... Okay you convinced me I’m buying it!
so glad you're posting again. I really enjoy your reviews. they're original and you go in depth. if I want to watch a video about a fragrance, I want it to be in depth. most reviewers are shortening the length of the video to get more views and pretty much putting the focus only on the presentation. your reviews are old school. never change George lol you, lex, Brandon, and theharvardboy are the only ones left.
The Olfactory nerve is the only sensory nerve that bypasses the thalamus and connects to the forebrain directly. That one quirk of human anatomy plays a huge role in our enjoyment of this hobby. Regarding the fragrance: I'm happy that I can still comfortably add new memories onto the ones I already have with Man Eau Fraiche. This is my 3rd summer with it. It's to the point where it does smell familiar, evoking my personal interpretation of what Summer should feel like, but I think it's been helpful that more recent releases haven't veered in this direction too much.
This is my first summer into frags and when I picked it up over the past wintertime the star fruit just smelled weird to me. It wasn't until it was 90+F outside that I truly understood the place for this fragrance and other summer fragrances in general. I couldn't imagine wearing anything other than an aquatic like this during the summer
Blind bought this one for only USD 40, and have been wearing it everyday since the the weather started getting warmer. I absolutely love it, and it really does last all day. So fresh and clean, perfect warm weather scent.
Just going on what You said in the first two minutes.. this is what I like about living in Australia. Most will wear an Anti perspirant or some Fucken Axe/Lynx. So the chance of you wearing a frag that a woman will have a bad memory of, Pretty Slim. The woman I'm dating didn't recognise Boss Bottled, nor more recent releases like The One or Spicebomb. Funnily enough, I've worn Aventus around her, she much preferred boss bottled (Intense EDT) and Spicebomb over it.. I think she's great and a real Keeper. I like Aventus but.. In terms of enjoyment, I'm with her, the other two are just 😁😁😁😁
George. Just one word. Fantastic. Absolutely brilliant! Your presentation is very gentlemanly and not over the top. Regularly hooked on to your videos ever since I found out that you hate Dior Sauvage. 😂
Great production. I need to try this as I always walk past it in store. Can I recommend Aqva Amara for another citrus performer. Lasts over 12 hours and has a lovely dry down
The main note here is rosewood Which smells very similar to bergamot. It’s like bergamot with a bit more phenolic stuff and depth. And I think it has a pre made base of dewfruit which has some captive molecule in it. Also tarragon is really big in this one a very fresh sweet green herb
Amazing video. So well done and slick. I tried this fragrance out in store but just didn't like it. Didn't get the same imagery. Great video, but the fragrance itself just wasn't for me. Thanks for the time you took in putting this together though. I properly enjoyed it. Cheers!
1400 views thats it .......com on Guys......give this man some attention.......i am a big follower of Jeremy Fragrance.......But....things might change Sooonn
Interesting and thoughtful review, I really liked the interspersed swimming pool visuals & sound effects 👍 I still haven't smelled this, not that I remember anyway but tempted to blind buy (nowhere stocks it where I live!) as I love fresh fragrances.
You are probably the best reviewer on youtube. I've heard of the scent many times and tried it before aswell (don't remember much though) and never cared for it. This review made me want to try it again.
Great review. I've seen a lot of reviews on Eau Fraiche and no one ever touched on the design of the box, as you mentioned, reflection of the sun on a swimming pool. What I've noticed with Eau Fraiche is it needs a lot of heat to perform.
Olivier Cresp is my favorite perfumer. He is a master at conveying physical locations through scent. He also did Light Blue Por Femme, which smells like a seaside italian villa.
I have this and like it it’s good but I feel like it’s not so natural I mean chemical. Am I different or anyone else is like me? Eros and Dylan blue are also chemical but I love them🤷🏻♂️
Dune was dope AF. Hard to believe that was Dior's only men's fragrance in the 90's too, wow. Anyway, you know how I feel about this scent, but I enjoyed hearing your enthusiasm for this one. Epic outro too, haha. Salute as always, fam. Keep up the great work! =]
No. It's not a swimming pool. It's the beach. Versace Eau Fraiche has a salty note, so it's not a swimming pool, it's the beach, coming out from the sea wearing a suntan lotion. It doesn't smell like suntan lotion, don't be mistaken. It's not oily. But i detect a lovely vanilla base in this and it's part of why i love it so much. It's not a strong vanilla presence. I would describe this as a sugary sweet aquatic in the best way. I can smell the saltiness and the sand in this. It's not the most clean fragrance out there and it could be more cold for extremely hot summer weather so, It's not exactly perfect!!¡! For me it is the best fragrance.. I love it I have not found a better perfume.
I suspect a recent reformulation with this. I got 200ml for under £40 and performance is garbage. My bottle is a 2016 batch. BTW I'm a sucker for aquatic freshies. A waste of money :(

Wow I always thought the box looked like some sort of lizard skin......You gave me a totally new perspective. You're brilliant sir.....
This is fantastic, glad to have helped! :)
You may have just made one of the greatest reviews/overviews I have ever seen.
You are on a different level , when it comes to creativity and knowledge ( WOW )
That's very kind! Thank you :)

Damn Dude...your analysis, insights and conclusions are outstanding
Really loved how in-depth this video was. Really glad to see someone praising a designer scent so highly! Keep it up George.

Consistently one of the best fragrance TH-cam channels ever.

You sir have class.
Your videos are pieces of artwork in themselves. This particular one is a case-in-point.
They are a joy to watch. You have skills!

Yes this one is great
This review is why i bought this. The pool deck, what an incredible metaphor. This fragrance is why I love woody aquatics. Thank you sir.
One of the best fragrance reviews ever! Not specifically for this fragrance but in general.
Just going on what

Just bought this one because of you !! You’ve absolutely nailed it on this thanks 🙏
That was simply brilliant George and so different than the usual reviews.
Great production. I need to try this as I always walk past it in store. Can I recommend Aqva Amara for another citrus performer. Lasts over 12 hours and has a lovely dry down
I wore this exclusively for 5 years.
You are like my fav reviewer Thanks Just got this and love it
Another quality review mate....what I get out of this scent is that sea salt smell..i get lots of salty sea water with a blast of sea air too..

I have been thinking about this, I’ll go and smell it tomorrow.

This review made me want to try it again.
Great summer review man one of my favorites of yours!
I have the 200ml and I love it for summer days..👍👍
Great review. I've seen a lot of reviews on Eau Fraiche and no one ever touched on the design of the box, as you mentioned, reflection of the sun on a swimming pool. What I've noticed with Eau Fraiche is it needs a lot of heat to perform.
You deserve a lot more subscribers👍
That's very kind of you!
I Love this juice in Summer, it's just so damn good

Olivier Cresp is my favorite perfumer.
He is a master at conveying physical locations through scent. He also did Light Blue Por Femme, which smells like a seaside italian villa.
It's my favourite Versace fragrance.
Do you find any similarity between Versace man eau fraiche and Penhaligon's opus 1870?
Im thinking of buying this but do you know any others too like this or ck one aqua di gio kind of styles
INFORMATIVE,POETIC AND VISUAL INTERESTING WELL DONE

Another beautifully made video with your great and honest comments. I own this fragrance and love it. I agree, it is 5/5
I bought this fragrance because of this review
I have this and like it it’s good but I feel like it’s not so natural I mean chemical. Am I different or anyone else is like me? Eros and Dylan blue are also chemical but I love them🤷🏻♂️
Damn this is the best fragrance video I have ever seen, what are your thoughts on Rasasi Hawas?
is it fresh like polo blue?
George, do you ever wear Cool Water these days? Also, what are your thoughts on Dior Higher Energy?
cackhandedchimp cool water? A classic. Dior Higher Energy? Meh...
Amazing review 👍
Also, affordable as hell.
Dune was dope AF.
Hard to believe that was Dior's only men's fragrance in the 90's too, wow.
Anyway, you know how I feel about this scent, but I enjoyed hearing your enthusiasm for this one.
Epic outro too, haha.

CascadeScents ; I miss Dune for men. Sigh...
Thank God finally someone pointed out the swimming pool reference! They keep saying snake skin 😒
This is a scent i let my friends spray themselves with a bunch because no one dislikes it and its cheap!
This was a religious experience. Just subscribed.
