    ECS Tuning makes a kit to fix this that you install with the manifold in place. It basically is a metal cup that covers the end and with a spacer to hold the piece with the triangle into place, but with room for the shaft to rotate. About $65 bucks in 2024

    Super glue and baking soda is a better glue than any two part epoxy. Use graphite if you want it black but I dont think it is as strong. Do a video testing that on shiny plastic parts like grills and gassy parts like intake manifolds.

    I live in Illinois, I know that aluminum shrinks and expands with temperature. I find myself with oil seeping from the bolts securing the valve cover and wonder if I loosen them and use a little gasket compound under them it would help stop the seeping?

    Hi, I have a question. What would cause the plastic intake to blow a hole by the cylinder head on cylinder number 3? It did that to 2 intakes.

    When I pop that back in, I still hear the hissing noise, and when I cover it with my finger, it goes away Why do I still hear the noise when I pop it back in also, since I noticed that popped out cylinder four misfire and super rough idle

    I used Gorilla glue and it's holding so far, epoxy would probably work better and hold until I replace the intake with the upgraded version.

    Heya Naptown!
    I didn’t hear from you in the other video, can the oil control valve within the camshaft wheel cause a intermittent p34100?

    • @NaptownTuner
      @NaptownTuner ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NaptownTuner thanks Naptown for responding. I really appreciate it.
      I have a 2.0T Gen 2 B8.5. Had a bad tune and blown the motor, then had it rebuilt with forged pistons. But since the build, occasionally (once in few months), a P34100 comes up. Just like what you said, the EPC light flashes but no check engine light staying on (Sometimes a dip in the idle) The p34100 is just there in the log whenever I scan.. the mechanic replaced both the alloy bridge piece + the camshaft adjuster magnet, But not sure about that oil controller piece.. it’s been better but the code still comes up.
      hence why I asked, I’m wondering if it could be that after all.

    I have an A4 2009 2.0 TFSI , changed fuel injectors,spark plugs and coils but the car cranks too long to start and after the cold start when it runs at 900RPMs cylinder 2 and 4 miss fires and the car runs very rough.
    After going above 1500 Rpms it looks ok.
    You have any clue what the hell is going on?

    • @NaptownTuner
      @NaptownTuner ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They do but I’m not sure how it works without a tune. Someone that has it can say what they think. I’ve ran engines without the slide in flap dividers in the cylinder head and it seams to make for a rougher cold start at least. Could potentially cause or lead to misfires so I won’t recommend it.
