I'm the creator of the datamoshing game, I'm glad Vinny and the chat seemed to like it! I kinda ran out of time or else there would've been a segment where you're chased by something and have to pause time to outrun it (which was my original vision for the game), so it kinda just became a horror platformer? Maybe I'll turn it into something bigger at some point, but I'm working full time on another game at the moment. Thank you for playing my game!
Yeah, it was a cool game to see! Very impressive stuff given the tight deadline, so I totally get why you had to leave out some of the ideas you had in mind. Will keep an eye on your work! :D
Jammer here - generally the jam was well organized but if you weren't paying attention to the itch io upcoming jams feed, you wouldn't have know it was coming up until Vinny mentioned it like 5 days beforehand. It would be nice if in the future there was a set date formally announced at least 2 weeks in advance so people can prepare their calendars. Thanks for checking out my submission! It was the first time I had ever really put together and released something so admittedly the result is a little crusty in certain areas (The mouse detection 😭) but I’m glad it was still enjoyable! Looking back I clearly needed to add a little more pacing with some of the mechanics because the slopes were supposed to be something you were able to control with your jump but it never clearly stated that anywhere which is definitely a goof on my part lol. So i just turned it upside down, and made game which should be scary, but it is impossible to take it seriously because of glitches. Also, most corruptions are funny, because characters are look so unbothered by surrounding chaos. So i think idea worked well in the end. Also, fun fact.
