This video lacks an important piece of information: Which ports on the side of the Autoslide do you plug the hard-wired (infrared) pet sensors into? That information doesn't even appear to be in the manual and frankly, it's a bizarre omission! So which port goes where?
Thank you. That ought to take care of all my issues. BTW: LOVE the Autoslide! Was a huge pain to install in *my* door (because it has a strange skinny frame) but now that it's working I couldn't be happier with its performance. Both my tiny dog (chihuahua) and my large dog (mix: 60 lbs) can use the door without issue. The little one can't push open a dog door big enough for the big dog and the big dog can't fit through a smaller one. This solves both problems and is downright cool as hell.
@@riskable just saw this item at a trade show and am thinking about getting it. So here we are five years after your comments. Does it still work and do you recommend it,etc.?
Hi Anglea. We have a map on our website that you can find a local authorized Autoslide dealer who has been trained to install our systems. Visit www.autoslide.com for more information.
The instruction books with these things are 100% useless - they tell you nothing about how the remotes work - how you calibrate it...*NOTHING*. This video appears to be for a different unit to the ones they are shipping now - there is not learn "switch" - there is a button. The LED isn't red, it's blue...and basically NOTHING works like the video says. Hopefully there is a more recent video somewhere.
Hi Steve. We are in the midst of redoing our manuals and installation videos for the Autoslide line of automatic door systems. If you need support or help, please send us an email at support@autoslide.com and we will be able to assist you.
Do you have a link to that Lock you said was from elsewhere?

I'll do that! First I need to finish hiding the wires :) Need to drill a couple more holes and re-attach the trim.

@@AutoslideLLC Do you have an expected date for that to be done? Also, I have repeatedly emailed your support line and have never received a response.
