The American racing commentators tend to be a class above. They often give you the time at the end, something that rarely happens in UK racing commentary.
This guy just moved into my #2 derby prospect with this performance! Just behind Baffert's Life Is Good. Prevalence basically was only asked to get into contention in the back stretch, then won out of the far turn without being asked. THIS is what you want to see from a first time three year old starter! Barring no set backs, Prevalence is going to be a major player in the future 3 year old trails to the derby.
Crockett and Tubbs, Check back with me after this horse wins a graded race. For me, based on what accomplished so far... Life is Good has a graded win and a top beyer figure 101 of ANY 3 year old this year. And Prevelence and The Great One look like two horses ready to take there next step.
@@anthonyvargas888 I don't use Beyers. The Great one ran a number in his MSW win that is only a couple points off of Life is Goods Sham. Easily a better horse, with more upside then a Baffert who's bred to sprint.
Slow down people, its only a maiden for christs sake! However if his time was very fast that may be a good indication that he's a horse of high potential...
Steven Clark, how much a horse costs is no measure of its merit. Dancing Brace cost $200,000. Snaafi Dancer cost $10 million dollars. The former won a 2000 guineas and Arc - the latter never even reached a racecourse. USA racing tends to be a bit patchy, so theres a very high chance this horse was running against turds... If he wins something like the Champagne Stakes or the Breeders Cup Juvenile then I will happily change my mind
@@ianjustin1468 It's a measure of it's breeding which relates to objective statistics on percentage of progeny that are stakeswinners. How does a 3 year old horse win a Breeders Cup Juvenile restricted to 2 year olds?
Winner is very good, and I would say is second best for the Derby so far (behind the other Godolphin horse), but Stage Raider will be a good horse too although not in the same zipcode as his half bro
@steven clark Bottom side says dirt for sure, though the Medaglia D'oro horses can go on anything. Pretty good mover, I could see him going okay over grass. I could see Godolphin giving him a shot at ascot in the fall if he continues to show promise, but misses the derby trail.
It's sad reading so many still taken in by this non-sport, you'd have thought by now, with all we've seen going on in the world that it would become so obvious just how bent this so-called sport really is, there is so much wrong with it one would struggle to know where to start, but the most incredible thing you'll see is these foolish people are way past any help, and they'll actually call me names or even try to belittle me, when they simply could not be any dumber if they tried, it almost makes you want to see them ripped off.
So if this is a non-sport, what is a sport? As if match fixing doesn't happen now and then in football, tennis and basically every other sport you can think of. Not to mention the use of doping in a lot of sports...But you saying this just makes me think you're someone who can't study form and lost a lot of money on silly bets on odds-on horses, complaining afterwards about how fixed the game is if they lose...
By the way, before you start calling me all kinds of things or claiming you're right about me belittling you because I'm 'way past any help', I don't claim it's easy to win big in the racing game. But if you put in the time and effort, are able to look further than just the horse's last race, don't follow those silly Twitter tipsters and most importantly don't chase losses with even bigger bets, you can make a small but steady profit, as I've been doing for a few years now...
Gate to wire a gorgeous performance! Great job to all connections!
Road to the derby for sure
The donkey Derby. 😂
@@Zarkava8 I guess 😂😂 the owners have the favorite anyway
I backed the second being a half brother to justify and he will be a great horse but the winner already is a very good horse that was impressive
Awesome performance. Imagine doing this at Chelmsford or Wolverhampton.
Similar to waldkonig on debut
Wow!!!!! One for the future man
that was poetic .. wow 😳
US commentary > UK Commentary
Nonsense
American Commentators always yell and over do every call. I'll take the smooth calls from the Brits anyday.
Great commentary

Neither will beat The Great One.
Must agree that this was a nice performance, hope they all stay healthy and only time will tell.
Sticking with Life is Good for now.

I use Timeform and Equibase.
Big price. Must have kept his homework under wraps.

Praise be the Holy name of Jesus.
Ian you’ve commented on this video 3 times. In another point you admitted you thought the horse was a 2yo, two year old race in January?
The beaten horses looked faster than the winner very impressive just breeze up the gallops for prevalence.
Great run interesting new comer
How good was that? Very good, phenomenal.
Christ!!!
Superstar in the making???
Praised be the Holy name of Jesus.
Tyler G on a godolphin 7/1 🙈, someone's had it right off
Like greyhound races from the start in America
Prevalence was well named showing in this race predominance, even if he never in the betting ring?
Horses win by 10 lengths 5 times a week on the dirt in America nothing new.
How weak was the field though?
Only time will tell.

@steven clark Yeah. Medaglia d'oro with a Ghostzapper mare as well. Ghostzappers are athletic.
@@ianjustin1468 He'd need a time machine to win either of those races. He's a three year old.

Ray Ray, unless his name is Khalid Abdulla....

Hasnt a prayer of winning the derby
DERBY MATERIAL/TO SARLY TO TELL
WILL THIS HORSE RUN IN ENGLAND?

Doubt it.
Better competition in UK but poorer purse so will probably stay put
Hope not. Got some 16s with WH for KD.
That's a horse!
So many bad races in the US. Horses win like that, all the time. I would be surprised, if he's anything special
I've seen horses run like that a few times only to be beaten on their next race.
I DK Kentucky Derby, times running out. But that's no " ordinary" horse..
His dam and 2nd dam were crack sprinters.
Just checked Pedigree Query and his dam "Enrichment" was 0 for 8 on the track.
@@richardk6196 ran against fast company but not a lot to show for. Still fast
Prevalence looked a good horse on his debut but looked average when only 6th on his 3rd run, maybe he's not that good afterall.
That was the easiest win I have ever seen.
Looked great but would have been 10 lenths behind the juiced Gamine at the same distance.
I know the ownwer, you better watch out,...w/the republican Andy Barr, saying they passed a stricker, drug testing?
You know shiekh mohammed?
Andy Barr ain't no friend of racing.
Andy Beyer???
Well good performance. But at the races hypeing im up mite jinx that horse careers. British racing is jinx racing. Good luck to that horse.
