2016-2022 Malibu & 2016-2019 Cruze use the same smart key for remote start some of the cruze’s have a 433mhz boosted from 315 if it has remote start but I believe it must be xl8 on the Cruze for the remote start smart key to work for Malibu & Cruze & yes I use my MyKeys app a lot it comes in really handy especially when doing newer model dodge vehicles when I have to use my adc2011 star connector cable with my Autel im508 to by pass the sgb in order to pull the pin & program
Do you have a suggestion for a tool that does not require NASTF? Autel recently agreed to require a VSP for add a key and AKL. Great stuff and thank you. I am not a locksmith but occasionally need to program keys for module programming, etc.
Mostly every new car will have to require a nastaf for security measure but yes Autel im608 pro 2 will lean more on bypassing some nastaf also try the Toyota tool For xtool

On a 2022 using my IM608 to add a key during the last stages of the programming the dash said, "Place key Here" . Have you ran into that? I had the key between the cup holders as you did and the truck actually started with the new keys one time and the others had been taken several yards away to be sure they were not being detected. After the 2 new keys worked one time they would not work again. The original key still worked ok. I ran an IMMO scan again and the new keys did not show up as having been programmed. I had to go into the programming manually as you did but Altel didn't have the year 2022 listed even though their web page does say 2022 models are covered so I chose the 2020 one. I am guessing the reason it didn't program correctly is due to the key placement or because I chose not to clear the DCT when asked the second time. I had already cleared the DCT after I ran the IMMO scan. Any thoughts on this? Hopefully I will be able to try again in a few days. My customer did not have time for me today to run through the process a second time today.
More than anything it Could be that your using the incorrect key.. check battery on key, make sure you dont move it from the programming slot while programming

hola y no programaste la segunda llave digo porque se quedo prendido el security y si la programaste se queda blokeada y no se puede reutilisar la otra llave
Unfortunately the immo light doesnt turn off with one key and and kept going into programming mode for the second key.. truck wouldnt start unless there was a second key

I believe you have to put the key in the programming slot not remove button... different vehicle have different slot locations for this one u would put the b119 between the two cup holders..
Yes you can do smart keys for 2020-2022 silverado 1500 & 2017-2022 on silverado 3500 but only blade keys on silverado 2500 on the Autel im508… thats what I use. & the B119 has to be placed in the smart key slot

I was told u can add 2 b119 keys then do the smart key as the 3rd for all keys lost that way the security lights goes off

You don’t need two keys even if all keys lost, just add key wait 12 minutes and add the new key
