I thought it was a Rokon all wheel drive trail bike at first. I didn’t know there was another company making a similar bike. This looks very nice too!

They are a copy of the original. Not as good….
These are really copies of the arctic cat cub, which is a bit less sophisticated. The Rokon uses a driveshaft through the top frame tube and requires a little right angle gear box on the fork. So they are a little more compact; The Rokon overrunning clutch is in that driveshaft. The Rokon also has a transmission, which you can see here would help a lot.

Its nice, I like the overrun clutch like the fancy American Christini AWD bikes. Feels like it needs more power or a more aggressive clutch as it could barley turn those big wheels in the swamp, snow is going to challenge it the same. I bet a Zongshen 420cc would fit in that large frame easy enough and provide the necessary torque it needs in these conditions (or different clutch weights to engage later\sooner) I like the CV shaft on the front to allow steering, a nice design, I see what you mean about the Fuel tank, rounder would provide less edges to hit your legs, looks like its in early production though.
They should make an affordable street-legal version for the EU. Getting a Rokon on europian streets is difficult and expensive - the competitors should make it easy and affordable. Maybe you could transmit this feedback to Baltmotors.
And yes, please show how this 2x2 bike performs with a trailer.

awesome build. best design i have seen so far and wins as it looks very practical. issues of disc brake by the knee etc but taking the brakes aways from water or mud etc kinda ticks an advantage. i would long term daily this in the desert

Looks well thought out.. If the foot rests can fold up and stay up could be handy when stuck or in deep mud.. It needs a snorkel air intake system .

Just my OPINION !!. I would like to see a 450 cc option much power when needed like in mud terrain and prolong hill climbs it's probably overkill on power but it's something that would change the game .This has potential but its lacking the under frame solid steel plate like the Rokon to travel over logs and sharp objects. The miter box is a great idea on the Rokon its heavy duty and such . There is just to many chain pivot points I can see those being an issue in the long run.

Pretty cool but man I wouldn’t want to pay to replace the chains and sprockets. Any Dirtbiker knows how often you need to refresh chains and sprockets and a dirtbike only has two sprockets and one chain. This thing has like ten

This and the similar Rokon have fairly complicated designs and many rotating parts. For years I have been thinking that a hydrostatic drive with two hub motors would be a much cleaner, simpler, and more reliable alternative.
Not to mention infinite gear ratios, a tighter turning radius and no chains to maintain. also with a simple valve the front wheel could be disengaged for doing doughnut turns. The same would work well in a 4x4 truck like a Toyota. All wheel drive.
Купили в этом году два таких аппарата, честно вам скажу , когда узнал что нам забыли закрутись саморез в бензонасос , слегка под….л! Как результат за сезон , заварили раму со стороны аморта, треснула на обоих мотоциклах. Ведомый вал подклинивавший, пришлось дорабатывать, рамы кривые на обоих. Такое чувство что каждый раз варят но новым лекалам. Болты - сыромятное говно, все надо менять, так и еще все под разные ключи!!!! Бак надо дорабатывать, очень травмоопасный херня! Мелкие поломки можно исправить на ходу. Размещали заказ на два комплекта с прицепами и фаркопами, один фанком с апреля так и не отгрузили!!!! В силушки нужно добавить наполнителя. Единственный плюс, едет везде ! Но желание вернуть на доработку , не покидает как можно так собирать ……

Rokon and others need make these but with another gear to get up to 55mpg. 2022 these type bikes would be big sellers with ww3 looming and gas oil crisis. The rokon will go anywhere, tows 2000lbs , floats , and sips the fuel 80 mpg
Don't be silly ww3 will never happen. Politics just want everyone to be poor and enslaved .Just get used to everyone driveing scooters to work instead of luxurious V8 roaring beasts . Like Thailand and Venezuela.

Should have a switch to keep power to both wheels all the time in cases like the swamp. You should not have to use your legs to get both tires to pull the vehicle or have the rear tire spin before front tire kicks in. How many gears do you have? Torque is based off the gears. One gear with a lot of power is going to spin the tires and not pull or torque up a steep hill.

Pretty cool! The only drawbacks I can see is you would go broke on chain lube, And there's too many axles and pinion points for the front drive system.
Had you considered pinion gears and a worm drive ( Like what's in the shaft of a weed eater)? Save parts save weight add reliability...?

If you don't perfect it, You'll at least find the most marketable Configuration.
Chains are so much cheaper and easier to replace, in my opinion. Strip off a gear tooth on a drive shafted one, and you're not going anywhere. Sprockets and spare chain and links are simple to store as spare parts. Personally, I'd put covers over the chains to keep the sand, mud and sticks out of the drive system. Then, a heavy chain grease will last longer.
I find the CV front drive quite out of the box and impressive.
I think this one has the Rokon beat for practicality.
I'm in Texas, and I'd buy one for my ranch if I could!

I guess the Rokon patent has ran out. An o-ring chain is a must have on these.

be good if they enclosed the engine and changed to belt drive. Then you could use this in the snow and operate all year round. Would be concerned about salt on the roads ruining the engine, gears etc. thus the need to enclose.

Imported a Rokon from America and copied it. Rokon’s have been built for 60 years in America.
I've never sit on this bike, but the disk brake looks fairly close to the rider - maybe not. If it is, the manufacturer should consider using a bolt on guard. Would hate to get my pants caught in that thing.

Hey if you are bitten by a venomous snake and need to lose an arm real quick to save ur life no fear the 2x2 is here just fire her on up reach ur arm down there into the gaggle of chains and sprockets pick whichever is closest to desired limb and insert ....then stick bloody stump onto "heavily modified push mower muffler" until burned like piece of bologna in a iron skillet then point wonder bike towards nearest hospital!.... its all around bike of the FUTURE!!! WOOHOOOO
Need an electric starter, reverse gear and more power - torque and a logical traveling speed with two persons on road,of course need some accessories for traveling. An easy motorcycle is safe for the driver in difficult conditions and if is simple you 'll drive for many many years. Please keep me informed.

Way too much chain & to many moving parts to break Choice of 3 different junk lawnmower engines, but it looks like fun for a 12 year old.
You can buy regular dirt bike like Yamaha YZ250 or Honda CR250. Its faster more powerful and can drive on beach sand. LOL
