Canterbury as I remember it as a 8 year old, Marlowe theatre and old bus station that may be me getting off the bus with my grandma, Canterbury high Street and onion clock which was all that was left after a German bomber raid. Walmer Castle and the Thanet way. Pantiles Tunbridge Wells, Dover Castle and seafront, Dover to Folkestone road, Mid sixties for sure. What a trip down memory lane!
Thanks for this. We could see the word, "theatre" and the first name beginning with "M" but couldn't quite work it out. We did take a look to see what theatres were in the town.
@@picturehousescreen2979 You're welcome. That Marlowe is not there anymore but a new one was built the other side of the city but still called the Marlowe.
I'm Irish, I was born in 75, I would love to be in my 20's in old England in the 60's and 70's, it was a beautiful place
