Well, 304 domestic balls released in 2023. Too many for me to even keep up with. I just want a three ball arsenal to get me, given my style ( med rev, stroker) through three games a night. And so far I have seen no video that addresses us folks. But thanks for the roundup.
I have a similar amount of hand and speed, so I always appreciate your ball reviews quite a bit. Would love to hear how you like to line up when you use high rg/lower diff balls. I can never figure out when to use them in my local alleys. Maybe I’m used to my sport pieces losing energy in the fronts, and I’m not used to having something that’s weak and stores it’s energy until it gets to the dry? Tangent aside, thanks for your videos!
I hardly ever use high RG and low Diff balls. They’re too clean most of the time, for how I like to see the lane. They’re just too much down the lane. I use surface on them and then they bog down. I like Hy-Roads, but there has to be very little volume and a decent taper in the pattern, in order for me to see the ball motion I like to see.
@@NickBrownOfficial02 that tracks, thanks for the reply! I’ve felt deep inside that maybe the high RG high diff pieces might be bad for my game, but hearing you reiterate how they’re also funky for you just seals the deal. I guess it’s time for me to invest in a low RG low diff piece!
Nick what do you contribute to be the difference between Tour Dynam-x #1 which you did not like vs, #2 which you did like. I am struggling finding consistency with mine.
My first one, was a very early pour and something happened in production. Can’t pinpoint exactly what it was, it just wasn’t good for me. Drilled a second one, the same exact way and completely different ball. I don’t throw it a ton, because it’s a tad over/under. It doesn’t flare a ton for me, it actually flares less than an IQ Tour. I plan to drill a third one, to get it to flare more so I can use it longer and more often. I’d recommend changing the surface. Take it down to 1,000 and let it lane shine. Seems to be a good combo for that one!
