It was great seeing James and George walking up with Kevin. It's a family thing.
I had to go back and watch it again. I missed them the first time through. I like that they are all buddies.

My family and I met Shawn in the pits really nice guy hopefully we get to see the car make it's transformation into a monster. What I really liked was I could see Kevin's work in person and it was amazing guys.
I bet that was a surreal moment for Shawn. Kevin don't apologize for lack of video, you know sometimes we probably need to experience certain moments without a piece of electronics glued to our hands, head, body, ect.. I feel like I need to exercise my soul every now & then to make sure I still have one! I'm sure that getting to see Shawn's face made all this work the past few months worth it! You're doing great!

I remember when you couldn't give a nova away in the late 70"s or a 330 dart or a falcon of that era either . They were mom cars that moms didn't want . Some guys raced them but now they are poping up left right and center .The fast backs were the cars to own

That smile and expression of satisfaction were WELL DESERVED when the first pass in a brand new car looks as successful as that one. I can't say that I'm surprised when the MASTER is able to create a car like that one.
Another new car that Kevin builds and it goes out goes straight and fast, a real tribute to his craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Man I can’t imagine what the feeling would be for not only you Kevin, but also for the gentleman you built the car for. Bring someone a shell full of potential, and watching it materialize, and then do what it did on the first pass.. Thats sheer talent and hard work. I've got to say today was me and my girlfriends first time going to Ls fest and I had planned to try to see all the youtubers I watch and try to support them as much as I can. Congratulations Kevin! I've been following the build and that's some outstanding workmanship on display on the first pass.
I love that his first ever pass was probably more dialled than most average people would ever get their cars. Kevin, you truly are a master craftsman.
That kind of comes with experience. He's done this build-a-race-car thing a few times by now. I imagine along the way he learns a few things about getting it right in less time on new builds. :)
@@Sabrinahuskydog absolutely, but just because someone has done something loads of times before, doesn't necessarily mean they are any good at it. Im a fabricator myself and when i see the level of detail and skill applied to every aspect of the builds that leave the workshop at ksr racing im amazed, the passion that goes into the builds is inspiring. I wish i had the opportunity to work alongside more people with that sort of passion in my trade.

When I saw that first pass in the Nova, I said, ( OUT LOUD ) " HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THAT THING GO ", VERY, VERY, SATISFYING. UNREAL PASS'S ALL AROUND IN THAT 64, GREAT JOB, KSR. I know you have some stuff to work out yet but " WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR IN IT'S FIRST FEW RUN'S ".Oh, that mirror brought back memories, moving all around, lol.
