I heard the lyrics more clearly through Luke Pritchard's accentuation too...love his voice. These guys also do a great rendition of Kids by MGMT, but you already knew that.

Id argue this cover is more in depth than the original. I love the original for the distortion and all over the place vibes but this cover is just so vocally pleasing
Actually, I got that wrong. It isn't a second guitar, there's only one. So there is a rhythm guitar in the original. And the only lines that have been changed in the vocals are 'shook, shook' and 'this town is the oldest friend of mine' - hardly a massive change, especially considering that they themselves are very similar to the original. Watch Ben Howard's version of 'Call Me Maybe' or Everything Everything's 'What's My Name' - that's how to do an imaginative cover.
Why does everyone pull apart how the words are crafted rather than the idea or concept? Hey assholes, this is TH-cam, not English class. Agree or disagree, but do not attack the words, grow a pair and argue the idea. While we are on the topic, this is better the original because it is more rustic.
